Welcome, shugosenshi. You might be interested in reading this first since you’re new here. And since you’re using RPG Maker VX Ace, there’s a ton of tutorials and scripts available for you to use on the site right here and here.

Welcome to RMN! Since you're an VX Ace noob (as I'm) and assuming you haven't used any other RM engine to make games, you might want to download the following Rpgmaker VX Ace Beginner's Guide that has a sample game to teach the basics (I have checked it and even though I haven't finished, I can tell it's good). Also, there's these Beginner's Tutorial Videos made by a fellow RMN member (haven't checked them, but I just discovered them just now). Hope you find them useful!
