"Well... guess it's time to go then! Posthaste guys!" Says Wes as he begins to rush out the door.
"Hey, can someone hit me in the head?" Zuko asks, still confuzzeled.
"No, if you're feeling bad you should rest." Suggets Kairy.
"Maybe I will..." Says Zuko when they enter the glyph room, which now has a has a thick, dark mist on the floor. It's coming from where everyone entered the glyph room the first time! Shadows are forming at that entrance. A few shakes of the earth seem to make the mist fade a bit, but it soon regains it's thickness.
"On second thought, I think I need to be cured of my daze NOW. Whack me in the head!" Zuko demands.
"You do it Kairy." Says Razuna.
"Fine, I will." Says Kairy as she quickly jabs her left fist into the back of Zuko's head 6! Kairy accidentally overpowers her punch and knocks Zuko out! He is cured of Confuzzeled but he is unconscious for one turn.
Of course when Kairy groans "Guess I was a little too enthusiastic..."
A shadowy figure resembling the grim reaper with a staff appears.
"Yoouuu've awakened Anathema... FOOOOOOOOLSSSS!" It says as it slowly drifts from the doorway towards the party. There's plenty of room to go around it and it's pretty slow.
But the terror is thick, queasy, and nearly tangible.

Bazyli trots off towards the bookshelves. Using his dog-sense he can read titles of all the books. He skips over uninteresting ones and selects these titles as possible leads.

Of course, you can't reach them or open them. That's when a wisp draws near, but only the edge of it's light touches you, so you're safe. In fact, the spirit had used it's light to get around and made it to the bookshelves.
"Oh, hey there Basil! I guess you haven't really gotten used to being a pit bull, you can't open books or turn pages! Ah well, I'll grab some books and perhaps you can read along with me!"
The spirit looks about the case and grabs all the books you thought would be good picks, as well as a few ice tomes.
"Well, which one first, hm doggie? Oh, lemme produce a stationary light..."
The spirit glows and a crystal of ice appear and glows, providing light for the both of you.
"Which one?"

"That's about 50 shades of NOPE!" Yells Wes who picks up Zuko and rushes towards the Door Room.
Everyone else follows. The shade bellows empty roars and makes a few threatening gestures with it's staff, but it's too slow to do anything. Inside the square room, she party recuperates.
"Owwwww, jeez Kairy! I know I said I wanted a knock on the head, but that's ridiculous..." Says Zuko as he wakes up.
"No time now, we have to pick a door before that thing catches up with us!"
"Well, I think we can safely say that the door in the ceiling isn't an option..."
States Wes, who was looking around.
"So which one, The one on the floor, the west, north, or east one?"
Asks Razuna.

Bazyli trots over to "The Legend of The Highlander" and puts his paw on it.
"Oh, this one is hilarious! The ravings of a mad-man obsessed with how his colleague was far more talented than he, with his superior skills! They wrote this guy off as a mad-man, saying he'll come up with any excuse to denounce his friend to assure himself of his skills.
He was completely correct, of course." Says the spirit as it opens the book. Most of the pages are worn out and unreadable.
"Ugh! What poor quality books! Ah, here we go, something legible! Go ahead and give it a read, Basil!"
The books Reads:
"The nerve he had, denying my claims! His unnatural talent was known to all, yet they all called me JEALOUS! Of course I'd be jealous! Who wouldn't be jealous of an immortal soul? For that's what I now know of him, he and I aren't of the same generation! Neither are his parents, though they birthed his body, they know nothing of his soul! It is bound to an immortal plane, always to be reincarnated once the vessel is lost! The one I once knew as friend I know know as a god, for in his past lives was the knowledge and fierce belief that one can deny death!
Do you not understand, good people!? My friend is not our doing, he is not our trophy! He is but the slave to the will of one long ago, continuing to grow their power! I know not of his origin, but I know of his tether! I will out live him and I will train. Train so that I may trace his soul, and once I find the origin I will use it for my own! The spirit, staring at you the entire time, noticed you stop reading and closed the book.
"That man, the author, is named Varic in case you wanted to know. Quite the nut-job indeed! But when I read this book in my life, I was in disbelief! But I studied, and I learned of how possible it was! I moved into a house next to an entrance to the Living World's Highlander's Tomb in order to pursue this. My oh my, what I did find with my research! I knew how to do it, to! Of course, I HAD TO GO AND DIE LIKE A WRETCH!"
The spirit starts screaming agony and weeps baleful tears and tosses the book at a wisp. The book evaporate instantly.
"When I renter the world of the living, I will be reincarnated! I WILL HAVE FREEDOM! EEEeeeHEHEHEHEEEE! Except, because I didn't perform the ritual as the Highlander did, it will be my old body reconstructed! Oh how I envy the Highlander, years and years of collected memories, collected powers... I wonder where he is..."
The spirit suddenly frowns...
"I would really like for you to be reconstructed with me, Basil! We could do it together! Once I shed the insanity of this realm I will be truly happy! I would love for you to share in this happiness! Oh, but I get ahead of myself once more... We need to reactivate the miasmal pillar... Have another suggestion for a book?"
