NEW PERSONA 5 TEASER

I've become a bit disillusioned with the Persona series, but I must admit I'm excited. I suppose we'll be seeing more of this during Tokyo Game Show, but I thought I'd see what everybody else thought.
What do you guys hope to see in this new instalment?
Alternatively, what's your favorite Persona title or memory?
P2 Eternal Punishment was my favorite. I was 15 when it came out. I was bored in the suburbs and pretty lonely. I used to wear make-up to school but I'd have to wash it off before I got home so I wouldn't get in trouble with my dad. Seeing the character Eikichi have the same worries was fantastic.
AWWW YEAH!
They've been milking it a lot, but I still like P4 the most. I won't let milking ruin my experience of the game.
And with Persona Q and all, yeah, your hopes do get down, but I'm certain the main series will still be as solid. They seem to have a little bit more serious tone here, too. (not that P4 didn't, actually, there was just enough fluff for people to apparantly ignore the rest. Especially in Golden)
As for memory .. there are a couple of good ones. I played in the living room, and when the P3 battle music started up, we'd all sing the "babybabybaby -- dadadadaa", it was hilarious.
I also loved the home-music in P4, it just makes me feel comfortable.
Also the whole true self/hiding emotions stuff .. really hit home. Was severly depressed without anyone noticing (except family perhaps) at the time

I can't put into words how excited I am for Persona 5.
So far, Persona 4 Golden is my favorite of the series. The original game fixed every problem I had with the gameplay as well as making lots of new and welcome additions. But when I picked up Golden, it felt like a whole new experience all over again. I liked the overall tone of Persona 3 better, but Persona 4 did such a good job on focusing it's character development that I can't say that one is better than the other. A lot of people claim that P4 lost it's, "mature" theme, but I think that is complete garbage.
What do I want to see in Persona 5? Honestly, most of what I'd like is nitpicking. I feel the core gameplay is so well done that any attempt to change it might accidentally mess up the formula. Hm...
For starters, I'd like to have a reason to continue vising social links after you maxed them out. It feels a bit unnatural to max out their Link then never talk to them again. If you have such an unbreakable friendship, there should be... something to show for that other than a super powerful Persona.
I'd also like to see you be able to modify your school uniform a bit. Your party members can do it. Why can't you? As well as being able to choose your casual attire.
I'd also like to see the return of male and female protagonists. In Persona 3 Portable, the female protagonist was such a drastic change in story and Social Links that I was super excited to go through the game a... 5th time? (Since I beat the original game 4 times prior)
EDIT: This isn't a new feature I'd like to see, but what I also want to see is Atlus not being afraid to tackle a lot of real world issues. Persona 4 not only touched a lot of topics that many AAA games today won't even graze, but explored them in depth.
Now that they've been acquired by SEGA, I'm really worried that the higher-ups may have some, er, creative input.
Open request to SEGA: STAY AWAY FROM PERSONA 5! LET ATLUS DO THEIR THING!
My favorite memory of the series is a tie between 3 points:
1) The final battle in Persona 3. It was both a tough boss and an incredible test of endurance, unlike anything you encountered up to that point. The story up to that point, the presentation of the final boss, everything pointed to an intense boss fight. Which the boss itself delivered. Anyone who has played it will know what I'm talking about.
2) The true ending in Persona 4. This one will require some explanation. SPOILERS for anyone who hasn't beaten it. Not sure I would need to explain myself to those that have played it, but here you go anyway:
Throughout the entire game, you were being told constantly, "If there's even ONE thing that still bothers you, don't give up until you're satisfied." Well, if you take that lesson to heart, you will find the true final boss. And when it happened, it's sufficient to say my mind was blown apart!
3) The extra boss fight in P4 Golden. You know who I'm talking about.

Going to TGS via school trip to see them showing it in person RAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
I, for one, would like to have a slightly more gritty setting. I liked Persona 3 over Persona 4 because of the theme of it, that you could have lively characters in a dark setting.
Well, sure, I mean, Persona 4 did have the whole murder thing going on, but it felt kind of detached to the story. Like 'oh no, people died. Let's play at the basketball club yayyy'
Still, as one of the last surviving bastions of turn-based RPGs on console platforms, I hope whatever it has can still survive in the harsh environment increasingly being tailored to real-time battles.

I'm sooo excited. I like P4 the best though I got into the series via P3.
I'd like to see a male and female protagonist like P3P.

To be honest, didn't really see anything in that trailer that piqued my interest (and I'm a huuuuge Persona/Atlus fan.)
Now that other trailer, the one with the incremental chairs and chains, THAT was intriguing.
Still good to hear they're making headway with the game!

It'll be PS3/4, so feel free to pick up either.
Eh i'm not gonna be buying a PS4 anytime soon, the next gen consoles are not impressive at all, i'm more then happy being a PC gamer.
I wasn't referring to you, but it won't come out anytime soon, either. So you'll have plenty of time.
Such series are one of the many reasons I do prefer playing on consoles, though.

I still have P4 gold for Vita that I need to play, just haven't had the time.

WE EXPECT A FULL REPORT, AGENT. Lucky you, though. That's incredible! I was hoping to get over this year myself, but I've got to attend a wedding in New Zealand which has eaten up my trip funds for the foreseeable future.
I'd like to see another Persona game with adult protagonists, but I think the high school formula is too successful for them to change it now. :\ I'm finding it a little tired, personally, as I have no desire to return to high school time and time again. But nonetheless I am excited to see how P5 turns out.
