LockeZ
I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Cutting it close, yeah? You've got about 27 hours to submit your proposal before you automatically lose for taking too long.
I wish we'd made that happen after 3 days instead of 7 because this is honestly ridiculous. I'd forgotten that this game existed, you took so long.

I was at a 48-hour game jam over the weekend anyway, I wouldn't have been around to update it if he'd submitted sooner.

Also, if you don't make this an amendment to rule 302, it will not actually take effect until rule 302 is annulled or amended. Rule 302 says that if a rule gets three votes it is adopted. Period. Not "it is eligible to be adopted if no other rules prevent it."

@Trihan: Did your 48 hour game jam last six days? Because that's how long it's been so far.
It feels like longer, but I guess that's because the aftermath of the previous turn (with the makerscore being handed out) ALSO took an eternity.

It doesn't necessarily have to be an amendment; in accordance with rule 201, he could just explicitly state that this proposal supercedes rule 302.
Also, such is the bugbear of forum games; sometimes they slow down if people are away or busy.

Sorry, I meant rule 210.

OK, yeah, that works.
DrOctopus: Yeah, add in that your rule supercedes 310 and I think we're good to go with the voting.
210 is what I meant. I need more sleep.
302, that is. DEFINITELY need more sleep.

117. If a player is required to post and fails to post for a week, they lose and are permanently removed from the game. If the game cannot continue as a result (for example if they were the judge in a dispute), the game master, in this case Trihan, is appointed to act in that player's stead.
By rule 117, DrOctopus is now ejected from the game and Trihan takes his turn for him, since it's been nine days since his turn started, and he hasn't made his required proposal.
If it were someone else's turn I might try to argue that since he's no longer a player it's no longer necessary for him to get a turn and the game can continue to the next player. But Trihan would dispute that interpretation and would also be the judge to settle the dispute, so that seems a little pointless. You're up, Trihan.

Unfortunately as much as I want to keep DrOctopus in the game, you're right.
I'm gonna keep this simple and just submit Doc's original proposal.
Proposal 308
A veto may be lodged and stand against a proposal that would be passed. To lodge the veto, two or more of the players in opposition to the proposal must align and commit at least 25 combined Makerscore, with each player committing a minimum of 10 Makerscore. If these conditions are met, then the proposal is rejected. The players who aligned for the veto will have the Makerscore they committed initially deducted from their Makerscore and will not gain any points from that turn's voting process. The player who made the proposal will have 5 Makerscore added to their Makerscore at the end of the turn. Vetoing does not end the turn. This rule explicitly supercedes rule 302.
Voting begins, I vote yea.
