I am psyched for the new TMNT movie. It's like they listened to all of the complaints from the first movie.

I am way out of the TMNT loop. Is this a sequel or a reboot?
This is a sequel to a reboot. I haven't seen the reboot yet because life. I also deliberately restrict how many movies I see in theater. At the most, I'll watch three in a year.

Is Vanilla Ice in this one? Asking for a friend
Deltree, this is a reboot. It's going to be Justin Beiber.

They told me I was mad when I said I was going to create a spidertable. Who’s laughing now!!!

I have to admit, I am cautiously interested in the Turtles movie despite wanting to hate it. IDK if I'll bother to see it, but maybe.

At least it actually looks like it's going to be a TMNT movie and not "Megan Fox with Turtles on the Side."
I generally distrust Micheal Bay for anything, though.

Eh, he's neither writer nor director, so it might not be too infected by his influence.

I'm excited about Independence Day 2, even though it probably won't be that great, lol.
Roland Emmerich and Dean Devlin asked all their Facebook followers what they wanted a sequel to. They had three movies they had wanted for years to make a sequel for, but just hadn't got around to it. It seems Independence Day 2 won. I voted for Stargate 2.
Stargate 2 would be awesome but we kinda got all the shows. At least ID2 adds to the world more. Not that I think it needed it, because the first was so iconic but meh, y'know hollywood, have to bleed something dry
Yeah, Devlin said the show was why he didn't make the Stargate sequels. They had planned a trilogy. When he did this poll, he said he had decided to ignore the canon the shows created and just go with his original idea, which had been very different from the shows.

That's sad, I would have liked more Kurt Russel and James Spader. While I do like the shows, Stargate felt like it could have easily been a trilogy.
I don't know though, I like movies and stuff but I really love shows for the length and stuff they can get away with like fluff episodes and anomalies, like Star Trek.
I wish Star Wars had a tv show back then. More adventures with the original cast would have been cool. I know we have comic books but not the same.
I am extremely hyped for Suicide Squad coming out in August. From the looks of it, it seems like it'll be pretty dang good.. hopefully.
Wow. Why you people would be interested in a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel, I'll never understand... Director Dave Green (Earth to Echo) doesn't exactly have a stellar record.
Early The Jungle Book reviews have been strangely positive (IMDb: 8.3 (5.6k votes), Metacritic: 78 (15 critics)). This should be solid.
I'm also looking forward to contained survival horror Green Room (IMDb: 7.2 (1.3k votes), Metacritic: 79 (10 critics)). Patrick Stewart is a bad guy. I'm in.
warning; nsfw, violence/language -- red band trailer
I'll post more about movies later on, because I'm obsessed. I am even considering creating a full-on guide to anticipated films, like I've done another time, once ago.
(Please Note: The predictions I just linked in that thread are pretty bonkers, mostly because movies were hugely unpredictable that year, and it looks like this year is gonna be pretty bonkers, too.

@ Cashy. Man, if you didn't grow up with the original TMNT books by Eastman and Laird, you just wouldn't understand.
