Alright, I forgot something very important in Skill Ranks so be sure to do those! I'll update the bio with your skill ranks after you've decided on them!
Also, be sure to check your bio in the post below the OP to make sure I have everything correct and to see your spells/techniques! Feel free to give me feedback and ask questions while I type the intro.
Also, following NeverSilent's Suggestion, I'll keep sign-ups open for, say, 20 turns. More if you guys insist, after all it's more fun to play with more people. If you know anyone who might enjoy, be sure to invite them via PM!
Give me some time to do the introduction. Since fearful just posted "moderate" and nothing more, I'll make something up for his character to be doing.
You will be starting in the port of Northwatch, a city on the northern coast.

Thanks for setting all this up, Seiromem. I will have to say right away that since I'm not a D&D player myself, I don't fully understand all the rules yet. But I'm sure I'll pick up the important stuff as we go. However, the one thing I really don't get is the Skill Ranks. Can you explain more precisely how they work, and how many of them I can apply to what skills?
Also, is there a specific reason that even though both stats are at 13, I get a +2 to Charisma and only a +1 to Constitution, and am only proficient in Charisma saving throws?
Oh, and another question: How does learning new skills/spells or upgrading the existing ones work, if possible at all? (The spells themselves are fine, though, especially the passive one.)
P.S.: My character's last name is Alastair, not Alistair.

Skill ranks are best described as modifiers. Skill ranks are your proficiency with skills.
Your stats determine the initial number of skill you have. How many skills you have depend on your stats. I'm a Drow Elf, so I get an automatic modifier to Dex, which gives me more skill points related DEX. As a bard, I have a high CHA score, so if we're following standard DnD rules, that should be good for another modifier, which will give me even more skills.
As you gain levels, you gain skill points, determined by your stats. Your skill rank is determined by how many skill points you invest in a skill.

You are level 1 so you can only put a maximum of 1 skill rank into any skill. If you were level two you could have a maximum of 2 ranks in a skill. Each rank point is a bonus to the skill. So if you had 4 ranks into a skill you would gain a + 4.
Your ability score modifiers also improve your skill check roll (as indicated next to the skill)
Skills you're proficient with gain your proficiency bonus. I'll explain leveling up below.
Here's a formula if you'd like a visual!
Acrobatics (Dex) 7 ranks + Dex Mod(+3) + Proficiency (+2) = +12 to Acrobatic rolls.
The charisma bonus thing was a typo. You are also proficient in Intelligence saving throws.
When you level up, you will learn one new spell/technique I provide and choose one spell/technique to upgrade. The skill itself will say if it is maxed out and unable to be upgraded. You also gain skill points equal to 2 + your INT mod every time you level up. So you would get 7 more skill ranks every level up. The base amount of skill points increases based on level, just like proficiency. At level 5 your proficiency increases to +3. I'll be sure to let you know of these increases so don't worry if you can't remember everything.
Also, when you level up, you can choose to level up in another 'Class' of your naming, granting you other bonuses if you wish.
and fixed your last name!

---Turn 1---
A light snow powders the coastal city of Northwatch. The beach is pale and constantly bathed in frigid waves. The ocean goes north and extends as far as the eye can see East or West. A Half-Elf walks down the main street, a hand cannon attached to her hip. There was the general buzz of excitement that normally follows newcomers, this one amplified by the appearance of the Gun Mage. The buzz died down, however, as it always does. Assumptions were made about this half-elf. Perhaps she was going to the dock for fast travel to the Garnet Forest in the South-East. Maybe she heard of the crystal mines to the east, where energy crystals were said to have been uncovered. Talk like this was common in the market place she passed. Vendors of fish and Tundarin trinkets attempted to peddle their wares, but the Half-Elf didn’t pay them a glance.
Her orders were clear: Find Fromach Dunlain, the Tundarin priest of Harmonia, and murder him. She stops in town square to look at the map. She is surprised to see a Drow elf, of all creatures, in this town and not being mocked or scorned. She is even more surprised to find the drow to be a Bard. The half elf turns back to the map, pushing the oddity aside and focusing on where to go.
The Drow Sings merry songs of wearing the winter weather, of catching fish and fending off yeti, all local favorites of the people of Northwatch. All the inns have turned down her request for a room, and she finds company among the beggars in the allies between the shops. The inns, at the very least, allow her to perform outside their establishments and she has gathered only enough gold to buy a meal, usually from the back door of the kitchens of the taverns. In fact, outside one such Tavern, the Plaza Premium, one of the housekeepers, a young boy named Irvin, seems to have sweetened to the Drow and, when giving her food, adds some little things extra. Tea instead of water, a smudge of jam with the bread, and other such delights for the Drow. Of course, the Drow cannot rely on such kindness and gain the life she wants. In light conversation with passersby she has picked up word of energy crystals uncovered in mines to the east, of a bandit band terrorizing a trade route, and of a theft in a Tundarin Clan home. The Drow looks at the Half-Elf looking at the town map and wonder what she is up to, just as a human mage bursts out of the inn behind her.
The man was excited. Energy crystals, in the eastern mines no less! What a discovery! Not as fascinating as the theft of the Tundarin household, but still! Such crystals would advance his research! The man drains his mug and slams the last of his coins on his table and bows deeply to the bartender, who sends a barmaid to pick up the coin. He bursts out of the Tavern, passed the drow and into the plaza. As this happens, two shady men follow out of the tavern.
Right outside the tavern, the men analyze the crowd. Suddenly, black bows materialize in their grasp and they aim at the man. One of the beggars shouts and points at this act of aggression.
Roll initiative! d20 + dex mod
Decide your actions! Roll your d20 and add the appropriate modifiers yourself! I trust you’ll give honest rolls. I’ll be using random.org number gen for the enemies' rolls.

Shout out while striking (you know, like in Karate class when you shout while throwing a punch): with sword, strike nearest enemy.
I rolled a 9 (ugh).
I rolled a 9 (ugh).
If that was your first roll, then that's what you got for initiative.
Roll again for the attack roll. Remember to check your bio on the first page for roll bonuses!
If you hit, I'll roll damage and say what happened after everything has been resolved.

All right, I get it now. Thanks for the explanation.
Since I've got 9 Points available, I'll put one of them each into: Arcana, Deception, Fly, History, Insight, Investigation, Perception, Persuasion and Stealth.
-------------------------
My initiative is 4, so I'll be up after pianotm.
Completely oblivious of the Drow Elf's sudden act of violence, I just walk up to the nearest bowman (the one not being attacked by Leara) and say in an honestly friendly voice: "That's a fascinating trick right there, with that bow. Can you teach me how to do that?"
However, I will hold my action to activate my Mage Robe if anybody attempts to directly attack me.

7!
Yay!
I'm just going to get my actual dice for the future. Screw these online dice rollers.
Edit: Yeah. I don't have any attack bonuses. My bonuses are all for charm and performance. 7.

Yes you do! I'm sure I put it next to your weapon!
This shows I'm not presenting the information clearly enough. Tell me, where do you think it's best to show things like this? Do you want a separate space just for attack bonuses? Bold it?
You have a +5 (+3 dex + 2 proficiency!) to attacks made with the shortsword.
so that 7 is a 12! Which is a good difference!

i'm figuring this out *reads
i rolled an 8
i'll toggle my gun to magi(?) and fire a shot at the shady figures.
oh no i rolled a 1.

8 is your initiative roll, adding your dex modifier (-1) makes it 7
Toggling your gun is a bonus action. You can now take a standard action (Attack or Move) and move (possibly again)
If you have any other questions, ask! Are you going to attack or just toggle your gun?

---Turn 2---
The bowmen on the right slits his eyes and fires a shadowy arrow at the mage who suddenly turns towards him. The bow disappears as the arrow streaks by Aldus’ head and cuts through his cheek, the blood splattering in the middle of the plaza. Seeing the obvious aggression of the two men, the drow draws her shortsword and lunges at the closest bowmen, who was looking to finish the mage off. Her battle cry is his only warning as he turns to meet a shortsword plunging into his stomach. The shock is evident on his face; he didn’t expect the Drow to be allowed to carry arms! The bow disappears as his vision fades to black. The Drow tears the sword out of the man as the second bowmen looks at her with rage. The first bowmen coughs up some blood while in his unconscious state. The mage, caught by surprise, instantly activates his mage armor and takes a defensive stance. Even in mortal peril he wonders in delight about the magical bow the man had previously summoned. The half elf stays back as her gun glows with MAGI energy. She eyes the battle scene carefully. Suddenly, she decides to act and fire her gun at the bowmen, who is fixated on the Drow who cut the other man down. She raises her gun and aims, and the magi energy explodes in her face! The explosion knocks her on her feet and her face is blackened. The man takes notice, but focuses on the Drow. A black dagger materializes in his hand and he lunges at her with blinding speed! The Drow steps back and is cut on the side of her chest, the wound burning her with demonic energy. The man moves around her as he attacks and the dagger dissipates.
Calls for the guards erupt as the fight breaks out. The beggar flees into the alleyway.

my head hits the ground hard causing black stars to explode across my vision.
the wind is knocked out of my chest.
a sense of both confusion and terror fill my mind.
i know i'm hurt. what just happened?
the sun catches my eyes and suddenly i regain a blurry sense of sight.
my ears ring loudly as i roll my seemly heavy body onto it's stomach.
small breathes are taken painfully. as blood runs down the sides of my face.
i try and locate my weapon.
i see it's shape laying a few meters in front of me.
what a feeble sight. the discomposure brings with it a sense of anger towards myself.
as i begin to crawl to it, an acute pain burns though my firing arm and i collapse onto the ground, unable to hold my own weight. i clench my teeth and with my weak arm move towards my weapon feeling all to vulnerable.

Ow! Well, that's just rude!
Hm. I wonder, what reason would anyone have to wear such dark, conspicuous clothes on a sunny day, anyway? Oh, of course. Look at how pale and unhealthy they look. Obviously, they must be vampires. And they can't have been bitten very long ago, either, otherwise they wouldn't have made the rookie mistake of coming outside before nightfall at all.
As I move towards the remaining bowman, I cast Implant Memory to remind him of his recent transformation into a vampire, and tell him: "With your condition, you shouldn't be out here in the broad sunlight, sir. I recommend going back inside and finding a shady corner to rest."
P.S.: I think it's fine if you don't want to post our complete statuses at the end of every GM post, Seiromem. But it would be nice if you could just indicate any changes to our statuses that took place during that turn (like loss of HP, injuries, gained items etc.)
P.P.S.: I think you forgot to add our elemental affinities and deficiencies to our status profiles. Edit: Never mind, I'm blind.
