CloseI think I'm going to take Symphonic Resonance, and oh the infinity point! Well, gee, I think I'll go with ice, and maybe I can stand up a little better to those ice wraiths.
Enna fails the save and Aldus now knows the last thing she thought, the last place she has been, and the last person she has talked to.

You cannot take the ice affinity right now; you need a Miasmal and Water affinity to put points into it. Also I think you have 2 affinity points, I don't think you used one last level. Yup, you only have 1 affinity point in MAGI.

~I heard Caribou are in season up in Northwatch. That'll fetch me some good meat and gold to get by in my aimless journey...
~I could take a carriage, but I like walking...
~Gods, I hate the cold, but if the wolves and bears can survive this, so can I...
~That Caribou I shot was one of the best kills I had in a while, too bad I can't enjoy the spoils after those Ice Wraith freaks attacked me...
~Why am I helping this girl? Why am I bothering with these people right now? Is some part of my life missing...?

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I'll learn an active defensive spell because I absolutely love the idea of this little eleven year old barefoot elf girl in a dress being the party's main tank.
I'll take the 9 HP. I'll gain 1 miasmal affinity and 1 force deficiency. I'll put the skill point in religion. I'll also point out that my affinity and skill points from my last level up were never added to my character sheet, nor was the pillow that I picked up in the temple.

"More weird people, huh? My name is Agnelia, this is Aldus and Leara. We're headed to some mines near here. Aldus is very interested in... what was it, energy crystals? I guess someone dug them up."
I inspect Chloé, who seems to have the same weird ears as Aldus. Maybe they're related, I ponder? She seems to be able to walk now, I'm not sure she's okay.

I'm not sure what my reaction is to this, but I'm pretty sure my mouth opens and closes a couple time. "Heroes" this curious human says. Just moments earlier, this curious girl was unconscious under a spider, and moments before that, she was drowning it in a floating water bubble. And yet, her naive optimism reveals just how young she is. Being constantly attacked by and killing monsters does not make a hero. Then again, I've always thought that people swallowing their fear and risking life and limb to help perfect strangers in their moment of need was the very definition of "heroism" and haven't I already done that very thing twice in the past three days? I'm at such a loss for what to say, I end up asking the most lame brain thing on my mind. "My race and appearance doesn't bother you?"

Hearing Agnelia's concerns, I pat her on the head and whisper to her: "Don't worry, they aren't thinking about hurting us right now. There's no reason to expect trouble before it happens, so I'm sure we'll be fine."
I then turn back to the elven woman and nod with a friendly smile. "We're all very grateful for your help in fending off these Ice Wraiths, mylady. But you are correct, we could use some rest and something to eat right now. I would like to try something different than wolf today. Do you think we should see if that spider is edible?"
In a lower voice, I add: "By the way, your disregard for the confinements of natural growth cycles is fascinating indeed. Could you teach me how you did that?"
Since she appears to suffer from the cold, I cast Prestidigitation on Enna's clothes a few times to make them warmer.

Agnelia's Active Defensive Spells:

1: Soul Shield: Use a charge of Sacrificed Power to create a dull, grey shield around yourself. The next spell or breath weapon (For example, the Ice Wraith's breath of cold) to hit you is absorbed by the shield, and the shield breaks. This shield lasts for 10 minutes if unbroken. 5 turn cooldown after the shield breaks.
2: Ethereal Phase: Use a charge of Sacrificed power to partially fade into the ethereal plane for 3 rounds. You exist on both the Ethereal and Material Plane and have a 40% chance of avoiding enemy weapon attacks.
3: Spirit Guardian I: Use a charge of Sacrificed power to summon a spirit of the dead to your service. This spirit can be sent to possess a medium or smaller creature to render them helpless for 1 round. A DC 15 Wisdom save is needed to resist. The spirit dissipates after 1 attempt to possess.

I'm starting to get apprehensive. First, I feel as if someone just read my mind, and now this stranger is casting a spell on me? I don't care if it feels nice and warm right now. My privacy was just invaded.
I draw out my dagger in a threatening manner. "Stop it!" I shout at the summoner.

"My name is Enna Galanodel. What brings you here?" I glance over at the rest of the party. "... are these your comrades, and is that girl going to be alright?"

I extend my hand to shake Enna's. "Aldus Alastair. Pleased to meet you. These are my friends Leara and Agnelia. I am here to investigate the mines in this area and acquire some of the famed Energy Crystals rumoured to have been found there. Yet, equally interesting phenomena seem to meet me on my path all the time, such as vampires, Leara, Agnelia, an abandoned temple - and now you two."

I extend my hand to shake Enna's. "Aldus Alastair. Pleased to meet you. These are my friends Leara and Agnelia. I reluctantly accept the handshake. The info about the Energy Crystals peaks my curiosity.
I make a light chuckle. "Interesting phenomena, you say? I assure you, I'm not interesting in the slightest."
In regards to Chloe, I nod. "Sure, I'm okay with meeting everyone. In case you didn't already know from prying my mind, I'm both a Ranger and I've done a bit of... assassin-work back in my past time." I bite my lip, ashamed to even mention such a detail with the memories I have.
"... If you are in need of my services, I'll be glad to accompany you. Not like I'm doing much out here anyway."
I make a light chuckle. "Interesting phenomena, you say? I assure you, I'm not interesting in the slightest."

*Trying to listen to bits of the conversation between Aldus and Enna, I wait a bit before answering, wondering what kind of heroes threaten eachother...*
"Well, um... MusicManLady the Drow, I don't mind. I have seen people shout and scream and be mean to other types of people, but it's just not fair. We humans get it drilled into our heads, "Drows are evil, drows are evil, they'll kidnap you" but I know from experience, no matter the race, it's the person that counts! Vamous created you, and I respect Vamous. You are my god's sons and daughters, I do not hate you."
*Chloe starts to bow her head, she seems sad*
"Are you not heroes then? I came all this way... You people saved me from that creepy thing, Oh Vamous was that scary. You may not be a hero but you guys are still so amazing." *suddenly she has a smile on her face*
"Here, I'll prove my worth to you by restoring the health of um... how about you Musicdrow? You seem hurt, let me heal you!"
I cast Soothing Wave on Leara (who I don't know the name of) and I heal 13 damage, (I roll an 8 and the formula is 1d10 + Charisma Modifier which is +5)
