"I guess I haven't Enna, I only left the town for the second time to go on this journey to find heroes, the first time was just to send a message to a neighboring town! Aldy, can I join you and your friends? Please? I've come all this way and you guys are really nice and saved me from a large 'Spider' is it?"

I turn my attention to Chloe. I get shaken a bit by her strong enthusiasm.
"N-Nice to meet you, Chloe." I reply nervously.
I think to myself Surely, that spider venom hasn't seeped into this human's brain, has it?

In the meantime, I begin casting Prestidigitation repeatedly on everyone's clothes to clean them - except for Agnelia's, because she likes blood, and Enna's, because she asked me not to.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I'll take Soul Shield as my new spell.
"I'm fine, thanks," I say to Chloe in response to her offer to heal me, backing away from her slowly.
"Aldus, the mine shaft is this way," I say, pointing in its direction. "Let's hurry up. I'm, um... cold?" I say unsurely, and then pretend to shiver unconvincingly, as I make fake cold-sounding noises in a monotone voice. "Brr. Brr. We'd better get a move on."

"Aldus, the mine shaft is this way," I say, pointing in its direction. "Let's hurry up. I'm, um... cold?" I say unsurely, and then pretend to shiver unconvincingly, as I make fake cold-sounding noises in a monotone voice. "Brr. Brr. We'd better get a move on."
I'm glad Aldus remembered not to cast spells on me, maybe there might be some benefit to hanging around with this odd bunch.
I turn my attention to the Drow Bard, but quickly shift my eyes to avoid eye-contact. With both bad run-ins in the past plus my family vehemently scorning them, I'm quite wary around Drow, even though I don't actually hate the race as a whole.
Her song makes me feel... awkward.

"Do you guys like being quiet from time-to-time? I mean, singing is okay, but... y-yeah." I lower my head out of embarrassment that my actual thought didn't really come through.

Whether or not your character does something is almost always up to you. In the case of the high-five, Ratty is the only one who can determine if that roll would be enough to get his character to comply. For your decision, Ratty, consider that because of Chloe's passive, she is more friendly to strangers than normal, and a 12 is usually an average* roll. If you can't decide yourself, maybe roll a charisma saving throw if you want and if you beat Chloe's 12 with a charisma saving throw then you can do whatever you want.

"Yes, by all means!" I have gotten accustomed to being in the cold over the course of my life since I've been exiled from the Lower Realm, but that doesn't mean I am comfortable in the cold. Any Elf or human I've ever met has been the same. Occasionally, I've been accepted by humans, but this is the first time I've ever been accepted by Elves. It bothers me watching Agnelia. To be used to the cold is one thing, but to sleep comfortably in the snow? To have to pretend that she even notices the cold? Someone has done this to this child, and it was not out of the kindness of anyone's heart.
"Why, thank you, Enna. And yes, I do like some quiet time." And it's true, but to have such a thing stated so soon after meeting is a bit disheartening. And I've had people dislike my songs before, but I think this is the first time anyone's ever only pretended to like one. I sheepishly put my lute away and force myself to smile politely, even though all I want to do is hang my head.

"Wait, we're going into a mine!? But mines are scary, there are bats and these scary glowy things called Energy Crystals, which I was always told never to touch. Why would we wanna go there? Treasure? I like shiny things!"

*being fooled by Agnelia's obvious lie, Chloe motions towards the cave!*
"C'mon guys, lets go, the little girl is cold and that dead spider is starting to creep me out..."

*tries to give Agnelia a warm friendly hug despite the fact she's covered in blood and just met*
(I roll a 14 (+ 5 for my charisma modifier), so I get a total 19 for my attempt at hugging Agnelia)

I watch the spider warily. It's probably just a nervous twitch but I get some distance from it anyway.
(Oh, Seiromem, that brings up a good question. In D & D and Forgotten Realms, spiders are an integral part to Drow culture, but that's specifically because of their association with Lolth. Are spiders that important to Drow culture, in Highlander's Realm?)

Leara never said those things aloud, Kloe. Your character can't have heard that.
I will gladly start going in the direction of the mine. We can keep the conversation going as we walk, if we want.

(Oops, sorry, It's a little confusing, I'll keep it in mind, I'll keep my statement, just assume I meant that since she has blood all over her and I thought a similar thing)

I can't help but laugh. It's just such a perfect reaction from Agnelia. "Chloe, I don't think Agnelia is the hugging kind." I mull over Chloe's question. "Treasure is exactly what we will find in a mine. Research is for men and women of learning. I am an actress and a musician. With what I earn in my trade, any extra financing is welcome, and exploring a mine or cave doesn't seem nearly as dangerous as some of the other options available."
