Aldus carries Chloe outside and the others soon follow. They attempt to set up a safe camp outside. It's dusk outside and the sky is completely clear.
Everyone who is conscious, roll a survival check.
Whoever is placing Chloe in her sleeping position, roll an insight check.
If you want to look around a bit more closely, make a perception and investigation check.

Froggmin tries to pounce on the demon, and fails miserably. The demon grabs Froggmin wrists, two in each hand, and pins him to the ground. The demon is about to tear out froggmin's throat with ease when his head explodes, a magical bullet passing through it's head.
Froggmin is covered in the raunchy juices of the demon's brain matter and sits up, spotting the robbed figure with a hand-cannon. The robed figure knows the Ulak'Lai notices her.

Froggmin levels up! He gains 1 affinity point and 2 skill points!
He can upgrade 1 ability of his choice!
Aquatic Aptitude: You have a +7 to Athletics when in water, If you go 8 days without submerging yourself in water for 55 minutes your skin dries and cracks easily, lowering your AC by 6 and you take 11% of your health as damage every day that cannot be healed by any method other than water.
Leaping Pounce: 5 turn cooldown. If your do leaping pounce on a creature smaller than you, you gain advantage on the athletics check.
Tainted Blast: 2d8 Earth damage, +5 to hit, 3 turn cooldown.
Falith Levels up! She gains 1 affinity point and 6 skill points!
She can upgrade 1 ability:
Viria's Boon: +2 damage and attack rolls on unsuspecting targets.
Toggle Element: You can toggle between Fire as well.
Rapid Fire: Each attack has a +2 to hit. Each hit deals 1d4 +3 damage of the element the gun currently has toggled on.
Artillery Blast: Spend 1 move action aiming at a location a minimum of 20 feet and a maximum of 180 feet feet away and fire. Anything within a 10 foot radius of your target location on your attack turn takes 2d6 +5 of the element the gun had toggled on the turn you fired.

(I roll a 2 on the d6 for health, plus -1 for my con modifier, I gain 1 hp... Can I have the 4 + -1 instead? )
Yeah, sure, just make sure to pick that option next time if you don't want to risk the roll. You know the risk of rolling your health now.
Absently, I pick up the crystal and look at it. "What's wrong with it?" I shrug. "Oh, well, if you can't use it, we can still sell it, right? Someone will be interested."

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

Well, I think I'm just gonna slow everyone down because I have no idea what I'm supposed to be doing so kill me if you want.
On the other hand, I might aswell just carry on since I started. I rolled a 6 and attacked.

Everyone retreats out of the mines without interuption. Once again Agnelia sets up an astounding camping area outside the mines, with some minor contributions by Enna. Against the wall, the biting cold wind does not phase them as the sun begins it's slow descent below the horizon.

After abnout half an hour the sun is about to set, and they both come upon the mine, with a party of 5 camping outside! A very young white-haired elf, an older elf, two humans, and a Drow! Froggmin,m being an Ulak'Lai, feels a sort comforting familiarity from the Drow's presence. Something from the Lower Realm, like him!

"I don't know. I thought it was just an energy crystal that could help a mage amplify his power. Apparently, if Aldus' reaction is any indicator, they're a bit finicky. If nobody here can find a use for it, I'm sure it can be converted into enough gold pieces to buy a decent meal."
Oh, that's another thing. Chloe has essentially been unconscious in every fight we've been in. Maybe a slight buff is in order for her.

You can make an Appraise and Arcana check to find out about it's value and magical properties. In regards to a buff for Chloe, very well. You might find a little something if you continue down the path you guys had chosen.
