I have no problem with something monumental, and what on Earth makes it so impossible for us to have a social plot? It would be great for a bunch of anti-social misfits like us.
Don't get me wrong, I really like plots that focus on interaction and/or detective work. It just seems that in a story like that, our party is very likely to get killed, imprisoned or otherwise separated very quickly. But if that's the direction Seiromem and you fellow players would like to take this, I'm definitely not going to try and stop you. If you believe you know what would be the most fun experience for yourself and all of us, I'll happily trust you guys.
P.S.: Unfortunately, I'm probably not going to be able to post anything here for about the next day and a half. If you all want to get some introductory stuff started without me in the meantime, that's totally fine with me.

Something urgent makes a lot of sense to me, though that doesn't necessarily equate to being monumental.
Alright, so, to make the list:
Region Pref:
Jungle(3
City(1
Island(2
Forest(2
I need preferences from: Piano and Ratty
I need Backstories from: Kloe, Frogge, Piano, and Ratty
Also, NeverSilent suggested getting a new thread, but that doesn't seem necessary, does it?

Oh, I would keep mine the same, I'll see if I have a copy of mine somewhere!
Found it! :D
Backstory:
Yup, I don't think another thread is needed!

Backstory:
The not so famous, pink haired brat of the east. She comes from the town of Fishton and tries to help wherever she can, but is really clumsy and always messes up. She wants to join a party of adventurers like the ones from the storys you hear as a child, so she can make a difference. She studied really hard at school to become a Healer, so she could help the weak, but she occasionally does more damage then she heals... She hits people with her staff when angry, but only occasionally, and is quiet weak so it doesn't do much. She left her hometown and hears of the tales of "a group of travellers who battle evil every day" and aspires to be part of their party. She is 16, but everyone mistakes her for a kid due to her childish voice and small height. She isn't the cleverest person ever but is always there to cheer her friends on whenever they're feeling sad! She is also fairly quick and nimble. She once had a boyfriend named Harold, but he was killed horrifically in a murder that no-one ever solved, she cries over his death every single day. She loves the water, because as a kid in the town of Fishton, water was everything. She loves swimming and could swim forever. She practices a bit of water magic but isn't great and the earth and forrests always worry her, she doesn't like getting her hands dirty and bugs BLECH, disgusting. She was brought up to follow the god Vamous, the Chaotic Good, and always felt she was Chaotic and good!
Yup, I don't think another thread is needed!
I need a backstory?! I uhhh.... I guess the joke story I said earlier works--I was bit by a radioactive frog which made me an Urak'Lai XD I'm sorry, I always have troubles coming up with backstories.
I don't really see a reason to change my backstory.

Backstory: Leara was born as a daughter of a matron mother in one of the great cities of the Lower Realm. She was punished for falling in love with a bonded male. Instead of accepting her punishment, she resisted, and her mother killed her lover. Leara chose to flee and escape to the surface. Finding herself under the sun for the first time, she was even more sensitive than the typical Drow, and the heat burned her until she passed out from the pain. Found by a traveling acting troupe, they grudgingly took her in and treated her until she recovered from her ordeal. Initially, she was arrogant and stand offish, but as she got to know the people who saved her, she became more personable. Over time, she became a skilled actor and musician.
As is wont to happen, she was accused of a crime she didn't commit, and the entire troupe, for their association was attacked and killed, though it's possible that one survived. Leara spent some time in captivity before escaping. Now she seeks the people responsible for the death of her friends.

Frogge, it doesn't have to be brilliant, but at least come up with something that's not a joke.

Dude, I'm not sure if you realized but my entire character is a silly nutcrack and he's a joke just by being himself. Plus silly backstories are more fun than serious ones :D

Your character can be a doofus, but come up with something that's actually possible within the game's universe.
A sense of humor is a curious thing
A joke in the telling can tickle or sting
Be careful when you open your mouth to yawl
A poorly spake joke is an offense to all.

All right, I'm back. I see you haven't really started yet. Fine with me.
Regarding the issue of backstories:
Kloe, I like the story you've come up with, but is it just me or are all characters that you create just more or less fantasy versions of yourself? I hope this doesn't sound mean, but I recommend you try to be a little more creative with it at some point. It's fun to play a character who is very different from your own personality as well sometimes. But I'm not the GM, so it's none of my business really. Just a suggestion.
Ratty, I don't think you ever posted a full backstory for Enna in the thread. But in this post you implied that you sent it to Seiromem in a PM. And you made a few remarks about her past experiences and inner conflicts in this post. I hope this at least helps a little.
Frogge, I'm not in a position to lecture anyone for playing a character who shows irritating behaviour. My problem with Froggmin, similarly to what LockeZ has said, is not that he is weird or does silly things. What I think is problematic is that his character concept cannot actually work within the world of this game. Multiple times, you have made your character say or do things that would only make sense if his surroundings were somehow connected to or aware of a 21st century earth, but in-character they are impossible to justify. There is a difference between playing a character whose actions or views are supposed to be funny, and a character whose existence is an actual joke. Because the latter simply doesn't work in a game that isn't also specifically intended to be a joke game.
I hope we can get this game going again soon. I'm excited for it!

Oh, okay... well I'll keep it in mind for any other time I create a character Nesi, thanks :D
Ugh... I probably made that sound way harsher than it was ever intended to be. Sorry, Kloe! Just know that for the most part, I like Chloe and think she's a really sweet person. I was just trying to be helpful...
Yeah, I'd prefer Froggmin's interactions with the party not devolve into "I am evil, Ho-ha! But I am pathetic at being evil, ha-ho! WATER! I AM CAT NOW NYAH, oh right REVENGE ON THOSE WHO DEFILED ME COME SLAVES, oh, you're not slave- WATER! NYAH!"
Mostly it's the switch between "WATER NYAH" and "I ARE EVIL"
Pick one; be an evil dude who sucks at being evil, or someone with an 'evil' personality (maybe not so much 'EVIL!' as just many flaws such as arrogance and condescension of those around them. You can have the "Evil" alignment as such, but not necessarily be a villain, ya know?") that can't help but go soft when a certain loved thing is presented to him. Each of these has potential for comedy, but the characters themselves aren't the joke.
(personally, I'd be a fan of the second suggestion I gave you)
Either way, jungle wins!
I have everyone except Frogge's background.
The skills have been updated on the second post. The first three skills are your class skills, next two are your background skills
I have also included starting equipment you get from these backstories, feel free to suggest what you would have.
Xoe has yet to comment on any of this, but I'll keep their character on there just in case.
I'll have the beginning typed up, once Frogge comes up with a background (extreme depth not necessary) I'll post it!

My new character sheet looks pretty good to me. Seems like you cleaned up everything back to level 1, and I'm really excited that I have a Bag of Holding now! How exactly does that item work? It still says on our profiles that Leara and Aldus have 365 EXP, though.
Frogge, if you are having trouble coming up with a backstory but still want to keep most of your original character concept, may I be so bold to write down an example as a possible suggestion for you? Just as an attempt to give you an idea on how to justify your character's existence within the setting's limitations. Feel free to ignore all of it if you don't like it.
Edit:
Oh, one more thing, Seiromem: Aldus was supposed to start with a Demoni affinity, not a MAGI one.

Fillmin was born as a perfectly average son of farmers in a small village somewhere far out in the country. His naughty and adventurous disposition sometimes got him in trouble, but nothing serious had happened to him until that one day when the 11 year old boy decided to explore the swamps near his village. Playing around in excitement, Fillmin noticed too late that he had gotten lost, and as darkness fell he stumbled across some old ruins hidden under the overgrowth. Inside, his eyes caught a glimpse of a large, shiny jewel sitting in the hands of a gigantic, amphibious-looking statue. But as the careless boy attempted to snatch the gem, a terrible pain wracked his body and his vision went black. When he came to again, he found his body had been transformed into a massive reptilean being with four arms - an Urak'Lai.
Confused and scared, he managed to stumble his way back to the village. But of course nobody believed his story, and the poor child was chased away with torches and pitchforks. Angry and bitter about the punishment that had befallen him, he returned to the swamps and wandered around aimlessly, until he came across a group of Urak'Lai living around a large pond. This small tribe, which revered frogs as holy creatures, took Fillmin in as one of their own, and over the next few years he grew to learn their customs, their magic and their religous rituals.
But soon calamity struck again, as the young Urak'Lai now calling himself Froggmin returned to the pond one day, only to find it defiled with heaps of poisonous slag, and all the frogs and most of the other Urak'Lai dead. Swearing an oath of vengeance, Froggmin set out into the world to punish those who had ruined his newfound life. The experiences of his past have left him disillusioned, cynical and ruthless - yet from time to time, the playful 11 year old child within him comes to the surface again, making this otherwise fearsome warrior insecure and easily distracted.

Huh, weird, I am subscribed to the thread but somehow I never seem to get notifications? I didn't realize you guys even posted >.<
Does that sound good enough? That's the best I can come up with.
Froggmin was born in a village. He was a normal human. He wanted to take over the world, but he sucked at being evil. One day he met an old man. The old man was hungry, and froggmin gave him some bred. The old man thanked Froggmin and told him that he would grant one wish he had. Froggmin wished for overwhelming power. But the old man was a sly one, and granted his wish and gave him power. But the power was that... he was turned into an Urak'Lai. Realizing what had bestowed upon him, he rushed back to the village. He was afraid all the villagers would look at him like a monster but the villagers didn't seem to care and just kept living like nothing had happened. Because in a way nothing had happened. Froggmin set off to find the old man who has cursed him to take revenge.
