[PLAY TIME] BULLET BALLOT MAFIA

LockeZ had a plan at least. A murderous, destructive plan, but definitely a plan!
@piano What paranoia? There's no need to be paranoid when you're the only townie like I am. See? I'm completely self-assured!

Nothing reveals Humanity so well as the games it plays. A game of betrayal, where the most suspicious person is brutally murdered? How savage.

Well, we can disclose who we voted for on the day after the fact, right? Combined with the fact that the amount of votes for everyone will be disclosed, that should make it hard for scum to lie about who they voted for.
Oh, that's true! I think the real problem might be discerning who the liar is in the case where the votes don't add up.
Oh, but aren't there super powers going around? The votes might not add up because of that and make this much more difficult.

Hmm... True. That shouldn't be a problem with the double vote, but with the null vote that's going to cause problems, because the person who has the null vote isn't allowed to say whose vote they blocked.
That'll... probably create even more problems then - if someone doesn't divulge who they voted for we can't automatically suspect them because they could be the null vote. Obviously if only one person doesn't say anything then they are the null vote, but it gets messier if multiple people claim that.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I'm in favor of full disclosure. It's certainly more info than we'd have otherwise. And people's explanations for why their votes don't match up will be good data for the people who are good at spotting liars.

The way I interpreted the rules, the guy with the nullvote power can actually vote and divulge who they voted for, but they can block someone else's vote and give them the nullvote power in turn. They can then not divulge who they blocked and gave the power to.

That's assuming we get the data. For town, there's no cause to lie. For mafia, there's every cause to lie. At the moment, there are 13 players. For that number, I doubt there's more than two to four mafia. All mafia could lie about who they voted for, and there'd be no way to really tell.
I'm sorr y i'm late i m still kinda tumbi-tummil-t-ttumblin' out of the bar there. HIC.
My main concern today is trying to figure out what the mafia can do for leverage. The null vote states that the passer can't divulge who they passed it to, until that person no longer has it. But the person who does have it can tell everyone on that same day, as I understand it. So that might create some opportunities for mafia to try and get someone innocent killed.

Oh wait no I didn't read the rules again just kill me now. People with powers just can't say anything at all, then.
So information is going to be really hard to come by in general.

Sorta weird that there are things you're not allowed to disclose, that almost seems like it's against the spirit of mafia. Liberty, are we even allowed to accuse people of being scum, or try to start a bandwagon? Both things are essentially the same as saying who we're voting for, in a way, so I want to make sure the rules are clear.
This game will be weird and probably very very quiet unless we go out of our way to force everyone to give every single piece of info they possibly can.

Total disclosure seems like the best call either way. Hopefully if any discrepancies come up we'll be able to use it our advantage.
Also I'm sure we can probably accuse people of being scum/lead a bandwagon.

Scum has little incentive to lead a bandwagon or make a commotion: Because all votes are cast in secret, town doesn't have a ballot to pressure mafia with.
So I propose this: We should announce who we're going to vote for like in regular mafia and then the challenge of this game is going to be in figuring out who lied and who stuck with their vote. Liberty's going to provide the vote scores, just not the names.
If we announce our intentions then that gives us back some control over the game.

Yeah, I'm also in favor of full disclosure. Honestly, I don't think we can really do much in Day 1, but since we do need to vote we should try come up with a strategy to avoid lynching any innocent people. (By the way, what happens if there's a tie/multiple ties in voting?)
Ah oops sorry, I somehow completely missed that in the rules! But does that mean if, for example, 4 people are tied, all of them will die?

During the day.
Also, although Liberty didn't mention it in the rules, typically in mafia games there is a rule that editing your posts is not allowed for any reason (but double-posting is allowed instead).
