[PLAY TIME] BULLET BALLOT MAFIA

I'm also curious what happens if there's a tie in the votes.
@Isrieri - if I'm understanding what you're saying, you're suggesting everyone state their votes the night before, then we can compare the results the next day and try to weed out who lied? Sounds fair.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

That is ILLEGAL. You are not allowed to say who you're planning to vote for.

- No telling who you voted for one that day. Discussing your choices of the day before is a-okay and I recommend doing so as I will be releasing the ballot amounts each day.
Basically, all we can really do is discuss who we voted for, afterwards. If someone wants to set a requirement that we all have to announce who we voted for the next day, then that's fine. I think that may be our best bet.

Sorry, I'm really new to these sorts of games, doesn't it say that:
"Discussing your choice of the day before is a-okay"
What counts as the day before and what counts as "on that day" does that mean we can discuss today, who we're going to vote for next vote period, but not this vote period?
I read this as - we can discuss who we will vote for '''tonight''' but tomorrow can't say who we actually voted for.
----
Wait, I think I get it now. Discussing your choices of the day before - as in, tomorrow discussing choices made today. NVM

Where the fuck is Liberty? Two people have broken the rules, two other people have instructed others to break the rules, and at least five people have asked questions about the rules.

Attention, I am now Liberty.
Attention, I was sleeping!
Okay, since I didn't put down the 'Do Not EDIT' line in the rules I'll just count any edits from here-out as rule breaking (we've a few people who aren't as mafia-knowledgable as others here who live and breathe that shit.) XD First rule break will result in loss of ballot. Second will be death. (Don't want to make it too easy on mafia)
Secondly, I'd meant that rule for the special powers (double rule posted on the same thing. I am numpty). You are all free to talk about who you are going to vote for but keep in mind that mafia may not be the only ones lying...

I'm not entirely sure why the mafia would lie about who they're voting for. I mean that doesn't seem like it would do anything other than draw attention to them. The only person who appears to "lie" most rounds is probably gonna be the person whose vote was nullified.
What I'm saying is that MakioKuta's post at the top of this page is concerning to me. Other people suggested and approved of the full vote disclosure thing, but she is trying to give this kind of false context as a way to find mafia members. Either it's a misunderstanding about how the game is played, or it's a deliberate red herring to make people distrustful of each-other.

I haven't seen MakioKuta in a Mafia game here before, so I wouldn't be surprised about a lot of speculating on their part...

Nothing reveals Humanity so well as the games it plays. A game of betrayal, where the most suspicious person is brutally murdered? How savage.

I'm a bit concerned about Libby's remark that mafia might not be the only ones lying. The special powers in the rules all pass from one person to the next, so there should be no special town who need to lie in order to protect themselves. But the rules also specifically state there's only Town and Mafia, so no Independents.
Also, rereading the rules some more, it seems the Null Ballot can make you choose someone whose vote is nullified, and someone else who gets the ballot the next day. You can then say whose vote you blocked on the next day, but you can't yet say who you gave the ballot to. In that case, the null ballot won't cause any problems when we all disclose who voted for who the following day.

- Null ballot. This will be doled out at random to one person at the start of the game and they must pass it on to someone else that night. Null ballot forces you to pick one person whose ballot doesn't count - so during the day in which you have the Null Ballot, you pick someone and have their Ballot be nothing. You cannot say who you passed the ballot to until it's no longer in their hands (that is, two days after you passed it) and you can only say who you used it on the next day (when your choice is no longer in effect).

Also, Libby, can you tell us how many hours are left before nightfall?
