Nothing reveals Humanity so well as the games it plays. A game of betrayal, where the most suspicious person is brutally murdered? How savage.

Hmm... So LockeZ died. I think Ratty was the only person who was suspicious of him, albeit for meta reasons, so his death probably won't give us much information. It's likely mafia killed him off for exactly that reason. It may still be worth looking into who LockeZ was suspicious of besides Ratty, so I'm going to spend some time digging through his posts.
I voted for Ratty as well. If that chart is accurate, and nobody is lying, that should be the fourth and final Ratty vote.
I'm a bit disappointed you'd vote for yourself after my rant on why nobody should ever do that, Kloe.
This post just goes so well together with that Celes avatar. XD
Anyway, I can think of several legitimate and several questionable reasons why one would lie about the person they're going to vote for. Still, even if you're doing it for a legitimate reason, we already have so little information to go on, I feel misinformation like that is going to do more harm than good. It basically renders the ballot counts meaningless if people can just go "Yeah, I lied. So what?" and we let that fly unchallenged.

Yeah, I lied about voting for LockeZ. What of it?

It'd didn't go unchallenged, we challenged it!
And sorry, I didn't take your advice, but at least I didn't vote someone dead! Jeez, I'm no killer, by vote or force!
Misinformation is only bad in the wrong hands, but I agree, Yellow that is slightly suspicious, sorry, I had to say it, but please prove it wasn't you!

Well, this is an interesting turn of events. I mean the voting.
I don't expect Isrieri to say who he voted for. It was either him or Jeroen who voted for Ratty. They're experienced players that know a day 1 bandwagon is necessary.
Lying about a vote and then admitting it seems likes a Yellow Magic thing to do, but I think we seriously need an explanation for it.
Null-voting seems like a newbie thing to do. So does self-voting. I'm going through LockeZ's previous posts.

Well, I couldn't find any posts where LockeZ challenged anyone but Ratty. Maybe you'll have more luck.
Aha! One bit at a time. Via my amazing guessing power I believe that the mafia thinks many of are newbies, which is true but that guess makes me believe YOU are part of the mafia!
Can you defend yourself Piano?

Can you explain why you think so?
Defend myself from what, exactly?
If you're wondering Kloe, a boatload of newbies isn't something to be waved off. They're an un-quantified factor, and unpredictable, and damned hard to get a good read on.

Well, as I said earlier, why would Yellow Magic think it was necesaary to lie? It just doesn't make much sense to me ;u; (but then again, I'm new to this so maybe there ARE in fact valid reasons for it?)

One valid reason is to put pressure on the person you're lying about voting for. It is a scare tactic often used in normal games where you vote for someone in order to get them to spill the beans. Of course, in this game, you can't retract your vote, so you'd have to lie about the vote in order to not permanently put your vote on the person you're trying to pressure.
But what reason did YM have to suspect LockeZ? There's only two LockeZ moments: one is when he suspects MakioKuta of possibly being scum, but he dismissed that as soon as YM said she was a newbie. The second is when he did the "Here's Johnny!" thing with his avatar.
Ah I see, thanks for clarifying that! Is there any reason why someone wouldn't want to disclose the reason for why they lied though?
Actually, I take that back. Having gone through LockeZ's posts, they're just so sterile, I'm not surprised people might have suspected him as being scum. Still, YM lying about the vote wouldn't have had much use. It was after we had all talked about voting Ratty. LockeZ was free and clear to ignore any lynch threats somebody might have made.
Well, I have good reason for my accusation. YOU CAN'T FOOL KLOE! I am super lucky, last game I played of a game similar to this, as some may remember, I guessed right and I have the same feeling as last time!
Why Piano? By my great logic of course! I think the mafia are eliminating anyone who gets close to the truth (maybe me next?) or anyone who is experienced, any non "Newbies" (though now that I've said it, they might not)
That is their strategy I think! By my great logic (God I sound like Alicia) Piano and the other mafia guys (if there are others) greatly underestimate the rest of us, we must prove them wrong!
I am Kloe the Guesser, and I think Youdunnit! Whodunnit? YOUDUNNIT!

{Also a little birdy cat may have said something about someone underestimating us newbies in a stream...}

It may be insignificant but if my master theory is right, (the master theory which I came up with BEFORE your post and revealed in my last post) it means you are a mafia, which makes sence, guys look at every inconsistency, and look where Piano posted! I mean think about why you almost hung him yesterday, he got 2 votes. If this gambit, this theory, this amazing super thought gets me killed, or hung in suspicion, at least I have tried to destroy Piano the Mafia boss who threatens our town!
*heroic look*
