Roux:

I grow warier of Jane as she hints at using my lockpick to free herself. However, as far as I can see she is the only person able to help me here. Since I hid the fact that I possess a second lockpick, I decide to trust her for the moment.

@Jane: Jane, I will throw you my lockpick. If it's too dark to see, try to focus on the sound as it falls on the floor and use it to unlock your cell.

I pass my arm through the bars, aim at Jane's silhouette and throw the lockpick in her direction.

I pick up the metal bar and open the cell door
@Jet "Thank you sir!" I bow deeply before looking around the new room.

With narrow eyes, Lit seems to gather the well-meaning nature of the fellow prisoners. Secure in this thought, Lit bursts towards the rusted bars, and attempts a flying leap kick.

#Leaping kick on the rusted bars, bound by the blanket and wood.
The lock pic lands very close to me, I feel a sense of relief with it in my hands.

@Roux: Roux I have the lockpick. I will do my best to pick this lock, and then in the same manor I will do my best to pick yours.

I look inside the lock on my cell and sweat, as sense of nervousness fills my stomach.

I attempt to pick the lock.

Hmm...Examine the lock.
---------------------Cell ???, Cellblock ?------------------------

The lockpick lands squarely in front of your cell, just within reach. You reach out and pick it up, then turn towards your door and start to use it. It's not something you're naturally gifted with, but the sheer simplicity of the lock and the fact that you have plenty of light to see by means that in very short order the lock clicks open.

+1 Lockpick

Your door is now open.

-1 Lockpick

---------------------Cellblock A------------------------

+ Metal Bar - +2 POW. Can be used as a make-shift weapon but is slow and cumbersome. Could also be used as a pry-bar or other kind of tool.

You check the larger room. It houses six small cells total. In one is a young pink-haired woman. In another is a man, who seems about to throw himself at the bars.

Besides your cell and that of your white-haired friend, there are two others which could be checked over as well. At the very end of the corridor of cells is a light sconce which is lit, and a large wooden door, which you assume leads to another room.

0/4

You cannot go through the door at the end without a 4-person party.

---------------------Cell ???, Cellblock A------------------------

You throw yourself at the bars in front of you, covered as they are in the bizarre wood and cloth creation you made earlier. With a loud crash you land heavily on them, but they seem very steady and not at all likely to break. The wood, however, has now fallen free of the cloth confines and parts of it have splintered terribly. You'd be likely to suffer yourself an injury if you tried to throw yourself onto that ungodly pile again.

---------------------Cell ???, Cellblock B------------------------

You examine the lock as best you can in the low lighting. It seems very simplistic in nature, something you might be able to pick with the right tool for the job. A pick of some kind, perhaps.

Whilst looking at the key, you see the person across and left of you throw something to the far left. The man - who has red hair - seems absorbed in whatever is happening over that side of the room, and soon you hear a metallic click of some kind.

------------------------------------------------------------

Everyone in Cellblock A can hear each other.
Everyone in Cellblock B can hear each other.

@Roux I-I did it Roux!!!!! Hahaha!!

I push the cell door open a bit and peer outside to see if the coast is clear.
--------------------Cellblock B-------------------

You look outside and see that you are in a small room of six cells. The light allows you to see decently well, so you can make out two open cells, which you presume are empty, and three cells that are occupied. The corridor between the cells is empty.

To your immediate left is a large wooden door, which appears to block the way into the next room.

Roux is in the only cell on the opposite side of the room. Next to your cell is a man with a mop of untidy brown hair. Beyond him, in the right-most cell is a man with a large blue peaked had that covers his face.

"Terrible luck. This plan had all the makings of my genius. Alas..." Lit half-heartledly kicks the wooden fragments, while shuffling towards the bars.

Lit speaks to the other prisoners.
"I say, would a-any you been l-lucky enough to happen upon that metal bar, what was on the floor earlier? Why, it m-might be the only ch-chance I have to break free from my c-confinement."
@Roux Hey Roux the coast looks clear I'm going to try picking your lock now okay?
I turn towards the mage and give him a short nod, after which I turn towards the other of the remaining prisoners (Lit). Judging from that move he just pulled off, I figure he is an experienced fighter. Or at least a more experienced fighter than me or the mage, which would probably benefit us all during our escape.
I say @Lit: "I think I have a better way to open that door than simply using brute force."
And I walk to his cell door to see if I can pick its lock.
---------------------Cellblock B------------------------

You look at the lock, which is very similar to the one on your door. You move carefully, since the light is a bit less in this part of the room, but soon you are rewarded with a loud click as the lock turns over.

---------------------Cellblock B------------------------

Jane walks to your door, then fumbles with the lock a bit before you hear a loud clunk! Your door is now open!

---------------------Cellblock A------------------------

With the light being so bright, it's easy to make out the lock and in seconds you have it picked. The door is now open.

---------------------Cellblock A------------------------

The white-haired man walks to your door, studies the lock a moment and sets to work. Almost instantly there is a loud clunk and the door is unlocked.

You may now leave your cell.

"Ah, yes. That will do as well. Many thanks, friend," Lit says calmly.
#Take blanket waste, and exit cell. There is still use for this threadbare, shredded sheet, if I can take it.

I'll take the empty bucket from my cell and then walk over to the empty cell in the bottom middle to look inside it.

@Jet "Yes, very good, thank you..."
my hand goes into my pocket to caress the carved doll and I lean on the metal bar.

@Everyone "So, do why are you guys here? And what are your names?"

Lit peers towards the bald speaker. It will be a while before he might impart any personal information, so Lit Meandr takes this opportunity to put forth false information.
Never trust anyone, ever. That's the key to long-term survival. Lit knew this all too well.

Stepping forward a step, Lit raised his makeshift torch to his chest, as if swearing an oath.
"My name is Damir Turmal. It was in the dark recess of the night whence my life was stolen away. Once, but a humble farmhand, apprenticing for the stables in my home village of Trissar. Now, a lowly prisoner for crimes yet unknown to me. Truth though I speak, my path lies far from here. It behooves me to assist, and dare I say Lead, the lot of you from these dangerous surroundings. Alas! Such a job is befit someone far more suited, I am sure. Here I go... rambling..." Lit Meandr shakes his head dismissively under the often assumed false personality, and shrugs helplessly at his pretend good nature.
Roux:

Unable to move, fear and gratefulness both fill my mind as I watch Jane unlock my cell's door.

@Jane: Ah... T-Thank you Jane.

Still suspicious about her, I decide to focus my attention on the man's voice we heard earlier.

@Jane: It seems that there are other prisoners in those cells over there. Could you help them with the locks as well?

With that said, I don't dare to budge until Jane takes a few steps away from me.

@Lit "A pleasure, Mr. Turmal. Lucky that you can remember how you got here! I've not the slightest clue how I came to be here!"
