I lost my arms in a tragic chibi accident

"Ouch!"
She obviously didn't appreciate that... She gets up and bops Jet on the back of the head while his back is turned.
"Don't you dare do that again!!"

But nobody in Cell Block B is listening to me either.

@Jet "I do, in fact. However before anything else I'd like to know if you know how you got here."
Roux:

I pull myself together and take a look at the brown-haired man. I feel a little relieved to see another man here.
I stand up and step out of my cell. I introduce myself to the brown-haired man while making sure I keep a few arms' distance between Jane and me.

@Chadwick: Well met, sir! I'm Roux. This is Jane. I'm happy to see that we are not alone here and that you managed to free yourself. It sounds like there is another person over there... (I point in Micah's direction). I believe we should try to help them out before we plan our escape.
I walk up to the mages cell and look at the lock. The pain seems have gone away for the most part.

@Micah: Hello my name is Jane. We all seem to be attempting to escape our cells.
I am going to try opening this lock for you, okay?

@Jane: Oh, thank goodness you can see me! I had this horrible notion that I may be slipping out of this dimension and blinking out of existence. I would try to do something but bars are not very good wind breakers. I'm afraid my spells would just gust through.
I attempt to pick the lock. I look forward to hearing what this mage has to say.

As i pick the lock.
@Micah: Sorry sorry!!! I didn't mean to save you for last!!! What is your name?

Chadwick awoke from a momentary stupor and blurted towards a Jane that wasn't there anymore @Jane: Chadwick Foreman ma'am I'm very sorry, then turned and saw her talking to a stranger in a locked cell. A bit relieved from having to talk to the victim of his shenanigans, Chadwick turned his attention to the man in front of him, still on his cell. Chadwick hurriedly thought of apologizing as well @Roux: I'm very sorry sir, he blurted, realizing a bit too late that the person, who introduced himself as Roux, was already introducing himself. He took notice of what the man said, and silently turned his attention to Jane and the stranger in the cell. Seeing as Jane talked to the man first, Chadwick paid attention to their conversation.
-------------- CELLBLOCK B--------------

You move over to the cell in the far right holding the man in blue, and begin to fiddle with the lock on his door. Again, it seems someone was a bit of a cheapskate when they installed them, as it is the exact same lock as the last two.

It takes you a moment to get the tumblers aligned and then the door clicks. You pull the lockpick out with a flourish, but in doing so it catches on the lip of the lock and you feel it snap in your fingers. Oops!

-1 Lockpick

------------------------------------------

Finally someone appears to notice you! The woman in green steps over to your door, slowly - likely due to the injury she recieved from being half-crushed before - and begins to pick your lock. In very short order you hear the click of the lock, indicating that it is now open.

You may now leave your cell.

------------------------------------------

The door swings open at the end of the corridor, revealing two burly men in what appear to be guard uniforms. They blink in confusion for a moment at seeing all of you out of your cells, then start to lumber into the room in order to get to you!

Luckily, you have time to create a formation, held up as they are by the broken cell door standing in their way. There will be:

1 Short Range
2 Medium Range
1 Long Range

Quickly! You only have one turn to organise yourselves!

------------------------------------------

Okay, combat. You have one turn to discuss where you will fall in line. This means that ANY ACTIONS will take up your part of the turn, though talking with someone does not count as an action, so feel free to work out a strategy and get to know what each other can do and how you are faring so that you can create a good strategy.

Sometimes close quarters will force you into a particular kind of battle line-up. This will not always be the case - in some maps you will be able to choose where you want to be around the enemy in question. Due to the close quarters of this area, however, there is only limited space in which to move and thus the line formation.

During battle you may use the following:
- Attack: this will use your main weapon for attacking, or if you do not have one, your fists. It's a simple thing, based purely on your POW. If you are fast enough, though, you might get more attacks per turn.
- Skills: Use a skill. One skill per turn.
- Items: Heal yourself or an ally with the use of an item (food or healing).
- Defend: You may defend and lose a turn for reduced damage. How well this works is based on your CON, though some hits may still take a lot of life depending on the enemy skill.
- Escape: You must have another map to back-track to before this option becomes available. Currently you cannot use it.

Welp...
#Irked by the shoddy Event-looking wall-mount, Lit decides to look for an exit from the room.
As I am talking to the mage, I suddenly feel a strong whack against the back of my head and trip forward. I just manage to keep my balance and angrily turn towards Chloé. I threateningly grab her collar and say with an uncontrolled voice:
(@ Chloé): "What in the world do you think you're doing? Don't forget tha-"
I force myself to calm down and stop talking, since it's not going to achieve anything and would likely only worsen things. I let Chloé go and turn back towards the mage.
@ Ignithos: I don't know why I'm here precisely, but I wouldn't be surprised if they captured me to take revenge on one of my former clients. That said though; If that were the case, I'd have no idea why you and Damir would be here as well, since the two of you don't seem to be the types to cause trouble." I take a quick glance at Damir, who just burnt his hands trying to remove a wall sconce. "Or at least.. Not usually."
I pause for a moment and then continue (@Ignithos): "I don't think I know your name yet. May I ask what it is?"
Our first battle :D Let's plan our moves!

I'm used to being a tank (RP-wise that's what I should do) and have high CON, so I suggest that I take the Short Range spot. I could Defend to gauge the guards' abilities but I'd rather Attack to help us finish this fight as quickly as possible. We don't have much in terms of equipment so I think that the best defense is a strong offense in this case.

Also, Liberty, can we ask you for more information on the enemies? For instance, can we see that they wield weapons or something?
I will be in the back healing. I have an attack but it is very weak. I either have the option of healing myself or performing a weak attack. Since no one is damaged but me yet I suppose I may attack.

Right next to the sconce you've been trying to wrench out of the wall is a large wooden door. It is the only way out of the room.

--------------------------------------

I was going to wait until you are in order, but I can see the use of being able to check out the enemy beforehand, so I'll give you the basic details of the two guards.

That said, you can ask, but I won't necessarily answer. Depends on the question.

Guard 1
Weapon: Pike (Middle range. 1st and 2nd row.)

Guard 2
Weapon: Bow (Long range. 1-4th row)

@Liberty: Fair enough. Thanks!
To be fair, that was about all I was going to tell you about them anyway. XD

If you do have more questions feel free to ask away.

Anyways...

@Jet "Oh, I didn't ask WHY you're here, but HOW did you get here? Do you remember?"

"Call me Ignithos."

@Jane: "Oh, thank you so much, Jane! My name is Micah, perhaps we should find a way to keep those men from poking us with their swords."

I vote for Long Range

I should be medium range then, i'll take the spot directly behind Roux.

The hallway is small, do 2 people fit in it? If not that one archer is gonna batter us down something fierce since none of us have any weps
I just noticed that three of you have a healing skill, nice!

I'll take the first spot then, and brace myself. *cue battle music*
