I'm actually trying to avoid voting too soon as you could see looking back. I'm really trying to give people the benefit of doubt.

Ah, that's not a terrible idea, IF! It could be that cap was trying to get people to attack cave so he could defend him. However, he never SURVIVED to do this and it didn't seem like he was going to so it'd be a bit dumb to plan on it. >.>
Yeah, it doesn't really work day 1, but Cap probably didn't want/anticipate being lynched. he knew his power and possibly set it up to try and work that way.
But as far as I can tell, Cap wasn't hammered, right? So this all happened when Night Phase happened so there was a possibility that Cap could have been saved the last minute but it didn't really work that way.

In regards to the deceit thing, I came up with the theory and while I was writing it down realised it was impossible so I said it was.

Okay, fair enough, but please explain how exactly you can get scumtells from yourself. Are you looking for changing posting styles or something? What exactly is your criteria?
Some other stuff: this post you decline to go for lockez and cap. Do you still think LockeZ is innocent given that he's scumhunting you? And what eventually changed your mind about Cap? You voted against him in the end and it seems arbitrary and bandwagony.
I'm also weirded out that you stopped the haiku stuff. I never thought /I'd/ keep up a gimmick longer than Kloe. It makes me think there's something else that's keeping up your attention in game. Or did something change halfway through day 1?
And all in all I don't think you've contributed much beyond one bad lynch vote after Cap's fate was already sealed. Sorry if this is sounding harsh, but we're going to be in a really bad situation if today is another shepherdface day.
Anyway:
@IF: you can appear less scummy by voting who you think is guilty instead of waiting for someone else to adopt all the risk. You agreed with LockeZ and even mentioned Kloe's weirdness beforehand. So why wait until I throw my vote in before casting yours? I don't think it's bloodthirsty provided you have convincing reasons for voting the way you do. I think what Gourd's been noticing is that you constantly look like you're testing the waters -- like you don't care which of several people get lynched, just that you're always part of a majority vote. There's nothing wrong with saying "you convinced me" if someone convinced you, the scummy part is openly thinking so beforehand, but then only committing when it's safe. I'd also argue it's impossible to get anything done without attracting at least some legitimate suspicion. Hell, look at last game. What I'm trying to do isn't misconstrue anything, I'm just trying let you know why my alarms are going off. (also because flattery is a scumtell)

I appreciate your backing Kloe up after that debacle last game but she's being pretty weird, even by her standards. I notice your vote's still on Gourd. Do you still think Gourd is more suspicious than IF?

I don't feel like I'm doing much scumhunting, mostly because I can't really see anything to go off and my post style is changing for some reason, and it's annoying because I'm not sure why!!

Well, I had nothing else to go on for Cap, and he seemed to be pretending to be a role, considering he hinted at being Blacksmith and then hinted at White Mage, I thought if you were role claiming, you wouldn't claim two, you can't be two roles, so I thought that made him seem like a liar, and also scum.

Well, people started coming after me because of writing haikus, it was fun but for once I actually wanna survive a game and be useful, instead of always dying before the end!

I agree... I haven't been of any use this game, I have no clue who scum is and I'm sorry about that! That doesn't make me the bad guy though! Also what is up with your shepard stuff and now another reference to shepards, I mean I know it's your flavour text, but it seems fishy.

Unfortunately I still don't have the time to make a more in depth post (hopefully later today) but psy, isn't this the point where you start using, like, statistics and stuff?
Kloe is definitely behaving quite unusually, but it's worth pointing out that none of us were really that useful on Day 1...there wasn't much to be "useful" with.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

I'd really like to get rid of LockeZ. His play style is way too unpredictable. He's always like this too. If he ran a country, he'd just kill and imprison people at random until crime stopped.

#lynch Kloe - There are other suspicious people at this point, but @Kloe, let me know your thoughts on LockeZ. If you want to survive until the end, you've got to be useful to town. It's looking mighty grim for you.
@Tunger thanks for showing up but that was not overly helpful or confidence-inspiring. Yes, I did name you once yesterday and once again today, but none of those had a lynch vote attached.
@YM I don't really have any great tools this game... Assassination screwed up simulation because we don't know our current state -- Cave could be anything. Even if I assume he was vanilla town, all the simulation does is predict win rates haha. I could use it to evaluate what behavior is optimal, actually, but with the smith dead there's not much to say other than "use the vigilante sword."
And to build off YM, I do remember plenty of townies that preferred to die silently rather than roleclaim. I said this at the beginning of the game but apparently it didn't get through: if you're going to be killed, do NOT let yourself die if you're a special role or holding the vigilante sword.
Anyway, I'm starting to get worried. Nobody's shown any real commitment towards making progress since the lynch votes came out for Kloe. Am I the only one trying to evaluate her statements here?
