STREAMING OR DREAMING. [LIBERTY'S STREAMING AND LP THREAD]

Yeah, so people have been telling me to make this thread. I'm sick atm and feel hung over (not because I am, but that's how my cold/fever/whatever this is is making me feel like) so I figured, why not now? Best time for it! :DDD

For those who don't know, I stream games fairly often and do LPs of games. This initial post will be me keeping a track of the current list of games I'm playing, how (on or off stream) and when.

If you want to suggest a game at some point, ask and I'll be happy to consider it. Do note that I don't do as many RM-based games as I used to, though I still do some streams and the like on them.

Current Streams
Sundays :: 12am AEST :: 12pm GMT :: 9am CST :: Rune Factory 3/Stardew Valley
(Usually a few days of Rune Factory 3, then 5 days of Stardew Valley, though can go up to double that if the mood hits me. Usually a shorter stream at about 3-4 hours.)

Wednesdays :: 12am AEST :: 12pm GMT :: 9am CST :: Little Lily Princess/Pub Encounter
(Can go for anywhere between 3-6 hours. Sometimes I'll sub Pub Encounter out for some other random game instead.)

Fridays :: 10pm AEST :: 10am GMT :: 7am CST :: 50 Hour Challenge Game Make Stream
(Make a game in 50 hours, whilst on stream. Just over half way through. Runs for 5 hours.)

Saturdays :: 10pm AEST :: 10am GMT :: 7am CST :: This is the Police
(I want to get this over and done with since it's a longer game than I first thought.
Longer stream that can go from 4-7 hours. Mostly for games that are likely to be shorter in scope than my other games, or one-offs. The survival games can be changed with other games instead.)

If you're wanting to catch the streams, I usually give a heads-up on statuses here or on my twitter (@silversatyr).

Even if you miss the streams, you can find them on my youtube channel a day or so after they're done. (If they take longer it's usually due to copyright stuff having to be sorted out.)

Currently I'm off sick from streams, but I anticipate I'll be back this Wednesday.

I'll actually be doing a co-op thing this Saturday - for anyone who wants to join in a game of Starbound, download your copy and make sure it's updated, then add me as a friend (Libby on steam - I have an okami avatar. Might also be under littlesatyr)


That said, I'm feeling a lot better today so I'll be streaming in about 20 minutes or so. A bit earlier than usual - since I've been sick I haven't been able to stay up really late for some reason and feel exhausted by midnight, so today will be an early stream. Hopefully not too long either.

So LP-wise I've opened up a slot to start a new one. I finally completed my UNDERTALE Let's Play, so if you want to check that out clicky the linky.

I've also added two more episodes to the Darkest Dungeon series, though one will be out tomorrow.

The next LP I'll be doing to add to that spot is Enderal - a Skyrim mod that changes the game completely. I've played a few hours of the game and will be starting a new game to show it off. Should be fun.

Okay, so you probably noticed no streams this past few days. Since I'm on an internet cap it can run out and I accidentally downloaded a few too many things this past month, leaving me overrunning the cap. That meant my speed got cut to 1/4. This wouldn't be too bad if I had a lot of speed to start with but it left me with a whole 256b of speed. My streams usually lag a little even at 600b+, so yeah. (Also, yes, Australian internet SUCKS!)

That said, it ticked over for the new month some time last night/this morning so streaming is back on. I'll be doing on in about 20 minutes (Stardew Valley and This is the Police), and Wednesday stream will be going fine unless something pops up.


Another thing some people have asked about - how much time do we have left for the 50 hour game challenge. I double-checked it the other day and we're up to 30 hours done, leaving 20 hours to do. Even if we do get caught out and don't finish, I'll be doing the rest of the game on stream, so don't worry. We'll just call that a failed challenge and, idk, we can come up with some sort of punishment or something. Nothing too drastic. Maybe some reading of bad fanfiction or karaoke or IDK, something weird.

@Pat: Oh, kinda wish I'd seen that before I actually played your game (sorry, but I tried it when you first put it out!) For what it's worth, there's a reason I put it as a spot on the front page - because I quite enjoyed it, even though I wasn't very good at it. XD I -really- liked the whole vibe and feel of it.

@Toaster: I'll consider it for when I do another RM stream. I try not to do games over and again unless they're demos vs full versions. I'd recommend checking out the Dev Tool topic for playtesters and LT/Pers.



About half-way through the McBacon Game Jam 3 entries so far. Tonight's gammak stream is being replaced with GamJam because I want to get them done. Same with tomorrow nights' stream.
