OLD/LOST RPGMAKER GAMES - SEGNIN'S RARE/OBSCURE RM GAMES REQUEST TOPIC

If someone is ever interested in finding Tales of the Seven Jewels (by Linoa06/Aveyond06,rpg maker vx, 2012), here is the remaining webpage: https://web.archive.org/web/20130421234952/https://7jewels.webs.com/

author=krum110487author=SegNinThank you!
Went through krum110487's entire long list of missing RMN games, where a lot of them were hosted on Dropbox for some silly reason.
And here are the fruits of my labor.
...
As for: The Short-Lived Adventure of Wizerd
I think I found the original author and I contacted them as well as anyone who I think may have played it, so we will see if they get back to me. I will let you know!
Yeah, when I see a dropbox link, it is almost always dead.
I am working my way through all of these links!
I do have these:
Adventures of MISTER BIG T 3 - Sexy Mix (Mister Big T) (RM2K) (2013)
Power Trip (Solosoft) (RM2K) (2003)
Prelude of Identity (MrMoo) (RMVX) (2012)
Ninja Adventures 1 (MasterDarkNinja) (RM2K3) (2004)
Under (The Man) (RMXP) (2008)
Final Fantasy 1 - Remake (Max Berger) (RM2K3) (2005)
I'm uploading those games (and more!) now, though there might be a delay. My ISP has scheduled their tech guy to come today and try to fix the problem where my DSL connection is disrupted when it rains. So who knows what'll happen there. So far though, everything's uploading without issue.
Although, looking at your list, I see you have a more recent copy of Adventures of MISTER BIG T 3 - Sexy Mix than I do--mine is v.2.21. And which version of Prelude of Identity do you have? Mine is v1.4. So if yours is more recent then yeah you should upload that one along with your copy of Mister Big T 3.
As for my games list, just use the one I have in my locker. I need to go through and see what I have and that will take awhile. Basically any game released after 2014 and maybe even after 2013, that vanished before today, I probably don't have as that's when I quit collecting (and playing) them.
And I do appreciate that you're trying to find The Short-Lived Adventure of Wizerd. Thank you.

Wow! Welcome back SegNin! I think the Christmas comparison another made is apt. I had lost hope of you returning, so this is really a Christmas miracle!
It's good to be back! Thank you, and yeah, sorry it took so long but I had several good (well, more like unavoidable) reasons for being gone. But I'm back, so I guess miracles do come true every so often after all! :D (That and 'tis the season for 'em)
Just a heads up, I'll be converting the game list into a google sheets that trusted people can group edit. I haven't had time to convert the whole list yet but it's s start:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1GpV2noEdnPlPNttx9C6-ySU29kqZpq_ndGt3e-pfw5Y/edit?usp=sharing
The bbcode topic is getting harder and harder to maintain and I feel it'd be best that we don't rely on one sole person (LBR) to update or correct minor changes. It's to a point where I think it just needs occasional communal involvement. It'll also be easier to sort, add notes/tags, cross reference file sizes and discrepancies. I also just really want to future proof this by making it exportable to other databases in case anyone wants a JSON for whatever reason.
PM me if you want edit permissions (assuming you're a trusted person and have contributed a lot to this topic), but I should be able to set time aside to complete the rest of the list this weekend or so.

Finally finished uploading/finding what I could for the recent Addendum to the Requested Games Index found here:

Monopolo
NOTE: This has been decrypted from the MoleBoxed version for the following reasons:
* Due to a bug, the Moleboxed version is unplayable on more recent operating systems.
* Addit (aka Silver4Donuts) who created the game is working (as of 2020) on a remastered version that will NOT be Moleboxed: "Yeah, the remastered version that I’m working with NOT be Moleboxed, as it really was a dumb idea (and expensive) to do that. I think I just wanted to compile everything into a single .exe file because I was also sharing the game with friends and co-workers from work to not confuse them and click on something else and then complain about why the game doesn’t work for them, or something."
https://rpgmaker.net/forums/topics/22805/?post=913233#post913233
* Cherry already unmoleboxed a copy--but the link is now dead--and Addit was cool with him doing so:
https://rpgmaker.net/forums/topics/22805/?post=922516#post922516
So, in light of all this I feel comfortable with sharing my thoroughly tested (by me playing a complete game) unmoleboxed copy of Monopolo. Enjoy!

Gold and Glory games from Beacon Games

No, No one has come forward with a bought copy, if we can find someone who bought it, the files are still on the site you bought them from btmicro you can still download it!, but I got the demo for Gold and Glory 2 and I have the contact information for the creator, but they don't have a copy.
This is the e-mail I got back from them:
author=Author
I don’t have access to those unfortunately. I’m pretty sure I deleted the bmt micro account years ago, and I certainly don’t have the email or password for it anymore. You’re not bothering me at all! I wish I could help more, but I really don’t have any way of getting the files anymore. I deleted everything years ago.

Unfortunately these links don't work.
As for "TheChosenFew" I really wish they would re-surface, I have a ton of games on my missing list that is on their haves list.
I have an update regarding the Quest Fantasy series, which I posted about last year: the main author of the series has retrieved the lost games and compiled all of them into a single zip file, which can be found here: http://believeinthe.net/Quest%20Fantasy%20Collection.7z
The games have been numbered according to their release date, the font size was fixed for the last title (since the text cut off originally), and the unfinished, unreleased game Radiant Trigger is included. The download contains a text file with some additional information.

Well, I found a functional download link for Space Police Vocal Unit (Spectrum) by Fletch Arrow.
Link: https://www.mediafire.com/?76a1g3396yoyq11
Admittedly it's an older build that is mentioned as being out of date on the file itself. So I'm not sure if it's the entire game before some more polish was added to it or if it's an incomplete version of the game.

author=SegNinauthor=LordBlueRougeIt's not RTP.
...Quick post here, would anyone happen to have the file:
Holiness1.wav?
This wav file seems to be pop up more than once in some of the games I've converted RTP resources for recently, while using RMtool. In particular miaka's adventure(RM2k) and The Most Stupidest Game Ever - Re-duh!(RM2k) seem to need it, but they're perfectly playable without it.
Now, I have a copy of rpgmaker2000 from 2004 and rpgmaker2003 from 2007, but I've never come across this particular file. I even checked the easyrpg rtp database for cross referencing and it doesn't seem to come up.
So, yeah if any of you older members from before 2000-2002ish happen to have old rpgmaker games from 2000-2002 lying around on your harddrive, take a look for it, maybe you guys might have it, it might be in an old rpgmaker game somewhere. Like, we don't really need it, but it'd be good to have for completionist sake.
It's originally from Blades of Heaven, but only the early versions, which I no longer have.
However, I do have that file, so here is Holiness1.wav if you still want it:
https://mega.nz/file/kjR1nRjR#Urmq7OARDlHqoxK6J5jgrhreWX44SuYT5UCSTwInTq8
I'm gonna pin this somewhere in the OP so that, when I get back to this, I'll remember it. thank you again for this thorough work here segnin. it's a christmas miracle.

VIPRPG Summer Camp (Japanese)
http://viprpgsummer2016.web.fc2.com/
VIPRPG Summer Camp is an annual summer competition held by 2ch where they create and judge rpgmaker games made with VIPRPG.
(...we're still trying to figure out what VIP means in this context, we're not exactly sure)
(2015 - 2006, etc can be found at the bottom of the page)
Ah yes, pardon. I don't know if anyone explained this yet but, VIP is basically a board on 2channel (now 5channel, not to be confused with Futaba Channel, which 4chan took its design from) called Newsoku@VIP. It was originally a board meant to funnel shitposts and shit threads away from the main news board, but people started funneling themselves on purpose, so it just became a general effort-shitposting board.
VIPRPG is basically mostly games made in RPG Maker for fun and to impress fellow RPG Maker thread posters. The effort varies, some of these can be really complex, I was especially inspired to pick up RPG Maker in The Year Of Our Luigi 2022 because of two Japanese-made Tales of CBSes I saw in RPG Maker 2000.
A link to their main wiki can be found here, there's links to the several festival/gamejam/whatev pages along with some pages for free assets based on RTP materials and whatnot (there's a whole lore going on that's made as they go along).
I've been an avid follower of 2ch's past "VIP Mario" Super Mario World collaboration romhack series done across several boards (I assume they had to change boards due to raids and derails) until its drama-induced end sometime ago, so.
Major kudos for the multiple site wide effort in keeping these archives. I can't really help in adding to them or hosting them, but I appreciate the work that went into this since I want to study how some CBSes and Events and whatnot were made to help figure out the intricacies of some of the Makers.
Sorry for not reading the thread yet, too many pages.
No worries, :) Thanks for the kind words KobaBeach ♥, posts like yours mean the world.
I'll try and update this as soon as I have free time over the holiday season.
Again, much appreciated ♥.

EDIT: AAA I forgot to ask this while SegNin was here: SegNin would you happen to have JKB's Mystic Lands?
He never released any demos for it, just teased us with those trailer videos.
His website is still up, but because it used flash, which Adobe discontinued, you can't access any pages through normal means.
Fortunately, there's the Wayback Machine:
https://web.archive.org/web/*/www.jkbgames.com*
And here's the page for the game itself (don't get excited, there's no download)

Here are the games he did put up for download, links still work too:

edit--Although I'm not doing anything with RPG Maker at the moment--so kind of on a break--I'm still here, checking this thread every so often.
Just as a fyi, rpgmaker fes it's shutting down in March. But not worries, I have already downloaded every game ever made plus meta data. I will upload it all in March once the servers shut down. Figured this post made the most sense :)

FES is the 3DS version right? Thank you krum110487 ♥! I was like...scrambling to get what I could since I'm not familiar with 3DS stuff or hacking. I wasn't able to grab the disgaea dlc and other oddities.
But yeah, thanks for letting me know! ♥. 3DS stuff was out of my element. Same with um, stuff like the mega man powered up server shutting down,
Thanks again krum!
Yeah, I have 90,000 games downloaded and all the Metadata, so it is good! no worries there. (It even includes deleted games)
As for the DLC's I assume they are all saved, if they are on the nintendo store, most are.

Hi, I'm trying to find an old game that was based on girls in high school in the modern time fighting back supernatural monsters - kind of Persona-like with slice of life and adventure themes. It was only posted on the RMN forums by the developer, not in the game submissions, and was quite long. Unfortunately, I can't remember the name! I think it was made in 2k3.

Just an update on this. They found it, after talking it over on discord, they found out on their own that it ended up being Final Fantasy High.
EDIT:
EDIT2: as soon as they found it, it got DMCA'd.
here's the original link for it, it was TheChosenFew's Copy: https://rpgmaker.net/forums/topics/4667/?post=459155#post459155
it was version 2.0. But I didn't get a chance to check to see if it was the same version that's already available on the archive. Maybe we can restore it.
The copy that was taken down had this file name: Final Fantasy High v2.0 (RM2k3) (Yumblie) gonna take a quick look at the archive.
EDIT3: Nevermind it's in the archive.

No worries, :) Thanks for the kind words KobaBeach ♥, posts like yours mean the world.
I'll try and update this as soon as I have free time over the holiday season.
Again, much appreciated ♥.
Thank you so much, here's a blog post by someone who most definitely knows better than me, please keep this up.

Same with um, stuff like the mega man powered up server shutting down, unrelated to rpgmaker i know, but it would've been cool to grab those. I think someone already uploaded them to webarchive, and all you need to do now is swap it to your psp memory card folder.Still, it's cool to hear backingup efforts in various formats.
An LPer I watch is going through the official promo stages on that archive and honestly Dengeki are the best level designers so far.
Hype for whatever comes out of the FES archives, I legit don't know anything about that engine, hope it's not too hard to play them later (either on Citra or on an actual 3DS).
