OLD/LOST RPGMAKER GAMES - SEGNIN'S RARE/OBSCURE RM GAMES REQUEST TOPIC

Posts

Does anyone know of an old rm2k game called: The land of Glitter ?
author=DitzyDuckling
Hi, I'm looking for 3 games all created by TDS. These were more demos than full games safe for hero's line. But I've tried searching the internet extensively and have come up short. They all had various interesting mechanics by a very talented script creator of the RPG Maker community. Funny enough, I had these games on my hard drive 10 years ago... (My god it's been so long.) But since that time, I've lost data, and their dropbox links died out.

I would be more than happy to only be able to recover Hero's Line and Silver Heart. Seraphim gates is just a bonus.

Silver Heart

Seraphim Gates

I found the Last one:

The other two were external and I couldn't find them, but I did ask the dev to share them.

Thank you very much for recovering that last one! I'm honestly not sure if TDS is even still active anymore. I haven't heard anything new from him in a long time.
Hi, guys. I'm looking for three games:

The first one is an RMXP game called "A Demon's Honor". I think this game was out before 2007 and I only remember it being hosted on the old official website of RPG Maker XP, under their game list. I forgot the characters' name, but I know the sprites used were that of 040-Mage08 (the female protag), 007-Fighter07, and 035-Mage03. There was another female character but I forgot which sprite it used. (P/s I really love the story and the music... I remember most of the music used were from SNES like Chrono Trigger, but I forgot the rest).

The second one is another RMXP game called "Wizardry Wars" by Jesse Brown. The game was never completed. It stars a Paladin with a lost memory named Dekar (sprite 003-Fighter03) with his allies Eric the Cleric (sprite 025-Cleric01) and Sasuke(?) the Fighter (sprite 004-Fighter04).

The final game is an RM2k3 game called "DeathRekon". It's a simple, straightforward game with mostly ninjas, samurais and the occasional mages, made with the basic graphic sets that come with the engine. It was hosted on Phanxgames. I actually used the Wayback Machine to trace it, and I found it on the archived site, but it was not saved in the depository.

Hello again, just wanted to check in to see if anyone has managed to locate either Hero's Line, Silver Heart, or both.
Hi DitzyDuckling,

I use to make a record of every requested game made on the thread and post it on the first page. I don't have as much free time as I use to these days, but when I have some more free time, I'll make a record of your request as well.

RMN has a limit of 20 posts per page - It's okay to repost your request this time, just don't do it everyday and don't post it on the same page.

But yeah, I apologize, I don't have as much free time anymore, but I'll make a record of it as soon as I have some free time. It's just really tedious to edit the forum bbcode in a long list of other life responsibilities going now.

Hoping you'll find Hero's Line and SliverHeart soon.

I totally get that, It's been a little over a week and I wasn't sure if it was okay to follow up with a previous request. Thanks for taking the time to at least do this with your busy RL schedule.

Request via PM from bosshunter:

Hi, I don't mean to bother you.

I'm looking for a Game Maker Studio game called Monster World Legends, made by XBuster.

His rpgmaker page has the download offline for a very long time (gamepage link)

I noticed that you posted a comment there.

The filename is MWL_2017_Conceptual_Demo.rar from what I could find.

Do you still have this game? I've been looking for it since forever..

I absolutely did not still have the game. For what it is worth, I tried using the "contents" trick, and while it has two files listed, none of them is the one they are looking for. I'll be answering their PM as much, and letting them know I made this post.

I've definitely been slacking on updating the list of requests within my little subsection, but, I can at least slide this request in there.
For the people who search for the game called

OSHERU SHORI:

and

SACRED TEARS ZERO:

IF these games are "NOT" allowed to be shared, then I'll delete this post.

Thank you everyone~!
Batman Dark Quest (Author)(RM95)(2006)
Simons Adventure (Demo)(Sleepman)(RM2k)(2002)

on the main page are both corrupted. Not the top archive file, but when you extract, the archive file within fails on both of them. I tried with both winrar and 7zip and the issue happens on both of them.
Well, I did find a way to at least play "Puzzle Fantasy" by Hima using the wayback machine.

And from a little testing I know some of the other games work as well. Albeit this only allows you to play the games not download them. Though, I suppose having a way to at least access some of these old games is better than nothing even if the site tries to make it look your playing the game on an old CRT TV.

Since this site was down I made a site based on the archive list: https://rpgmakerarchive.com/

nothing fancy, but the site pulls data from these google docs https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1GpV2noEdnPlPNttx9C6-ySU29kqZpq_ndGt3e-pfw5Y/edit?gid=0#gid=0 so anyone with permission can update the site archive remotely

Cool thing Darken! Now I know who made that list!
I just wanna add that I tested and uploaded some of these lost games with screenshots on Rmarchiv.de for archiving purpouses. Moreover I made this https://therpgmakeraddict.blogspot.com/ as a "memorial"/repository for links of old missing games.
sick, i wish I wrote more quick game overviews than full on reviews because yeah the main thing we need is just "coverage" on these games / screenshots.

This is also super cool!!

I was working on making a website for basically the same thing but for the entirety of RMN's games. Probably wouldn't be as long lasting as The Internet Archive's list but it seemed better to have them in multiple places. I only got about as far as downloading everything from the Internet Archive then got a bit stuck at the easiest way to set everything up. If I do end up finishing the project I'll link it here too!

Saving all of this (TRA blogspot and darken website/list) either way! Really awesome work!

Correct, the idea is posting links with pics (because I found old threads but I had no idea about the games... and some of these were actually cool!) most games are from the 200-2007 era so they aren't featured here, but I'm also going to post some more recent ones deserving being mentioned. The challenge is posting 1 game each day AND a non-english-rpgmaker game (untranslated) on saturdays.

Thanks! I am currently digging old links of some forgotten games so we'll see what I find!
