[MAFIA] RMN: WHEN THEY CRY (TEA PARTY)
Posts
I know that jeroen lead the vote, but it was yellow that really pushed for the muffle vote last night while I wasn't around, and I'm pretty sure there was still tons of time even though the timer wasn't actually visible because it died.
I do agree though, in terms of activity I've seen a lot more from cap than I have from yellow.

Nothing reveals Humanity so well as the games it plays. A game of betrayal, where the most suspicious person is brutally murdered? How savage.

Incidentally, can you give us a full list of who you protected each night, Cap?

About that Muffle vote, I guess I got a bit overzealous, thinking that I had found the new "each-other" in "livid".
It happens, and it was the first time we saw muffle play. Even had it not happened its possible we would have felt suspicious of her today.
I'm getting ready to head off soon as it's late here. I might have to pick this up tomorrow if cap doesn't post the list soon.

Normally at MYLO we could opt to nolynch for another day, but that wouldn't give us any more information. Either demon or I would probably get killed, leaving us again to choose between Cap and YM. We have no more informative roles and I again wouldn't risk a misfire, so it would just be the exact same day as today.
I'll leave my final thoughts here for the night and read in the morning.
I'm finding caps reasoning plausible. It is possible that he planned withholding a nightkill, and then making the point about jeroen being the most plausible night for yellow. I do however believe he is right that a scum defender doesn't make as much sense as a scum gunman in this particular game.
As for nolynch, I've considered that as well but it wouldn't work. There isn't any way to use the current powers we have to our advantage.
I'd say I'm currently about 75% sure that yellow is the one we need to lynch. Cap just has too much going on in his favor right now...and if he really is scum then all I can say no matter who we choose to lynch...well played.

I agree a scum protector doesn't make much sense. If Cap is scum, then protector is probably a fakeclaim.
Welp, I forgot about the Cave death. In that case, it makes a scum gunner even more likely.
I have very little to say in my defense as I have played horribly this time round.
One thing I will say is that there are three conformed roles and one nonconfirmed one. I think in this case Occam's Razor should apply, and we should lynch the unconfirmed one.
For what it's worth, Holy crap well-played Mr. Mafia. I've been completely thrown for a loop.

Typo obviously, I meant even LESS likely, not more likely.
Oh, one more thing. I've already attempted to shoot Muffle and it didn't work, despite no-one protecting her. So evidently, I'm not a one-shot vigilante, and I need someone else to fire at the same person to kill them.

I don't doubt you're a gunman. I couldn't have killed Esby on my own, after all. The question is whethee you're a town or a scum gunman.

I now think we're in one of three scenarios:
1: YM attacked me and got stopped by Cap and demon.
2: YM made a ballsy nokill move and it backfired.
3: Cap made a ballsy nokill move and it worked.
Also, speaking of Occam's razor. If we apply Occam's razor here, then we're in scenario 1, YM.
Why would I attack you and not demonlord?? If people are floating around the idea of a scum gunner, that could be as easily you as me.

Hmm, that's true. Certainly, I would have attacked demon in that situation.

Maybe scenario 2 and 3 are more likely then.
Regarding scenario 2, LOL I'm not the type to risk throwing a game by being cocky. I'm still trying to figure out what Mafia would gain by not choosing to kill demonlord.
A ballsy Mafia player would certainly throw his fellow Mafia under the bus, though, which is what Cap could have done with Ozzy.

A note. If Cap were a mafia tracker, the nokill strategy would suddenly become very easy to pull off. We already had a town tracker though, so I don't know how likely that would be.

Yes
N1 -piano
N2 -demonlord

Worse, it would make it easier for mafia to hammer.
