Muffle: Seems to use a lot of the "They're being overly defensive/not posting anything substantial" argument against people despite being, honestly, the same way. I'm not sure if this is irony or being sinister
demonlord5000: This one's a bit iffy I have to admit but: The protector role doesn't seem very useful at all for Town if you need two of them to protect the same person! If we consider that the Gunmen so far (Gourd, Jeroen) are Town, what's the point of the protectors?
What I'm trying to say is I don't think being a Protector is indicative of Town in this game. Add this to the flavour text that demonlord claims to have received (hit by a vase, then ducked under a stairwell) and yes yes I know we shouldn't reason about it, but surely someone can understand why that rubs me the wrong way?
LockeZ: Process of elimination considering all the people who've role-claimed already/have decent alibis.

I very much hate that I have to do this, but demon's completely unnecessary roleclaim and especially this discussion has forced my hand.
I believe demonlord's claim, because I know for a fact that there's roles in this game that require multiple people to target the same person for the effect to work.
I am a gunman like Gourd. I assume we were partners and my power is now useless, though our number was never specified so there may be more of us. Our power is that if two of us target the same player, we nightkill them. Last night I targeted demon. This is why he got a message that he was attacked, and also why he didn't die. Nobody else must have tried to kill him last night, which led to the kill failing. He doesn't need to have been protected.
This is why I've been saying that multiple people being targeted isn't alignment-indicative. I knew for a fact that demon has been targeted by town. It's also why I'm pretty convinced Piano is town, since nobody else has come forward that they were targeted last night, so he was probably the target of the scumkill.
I am not happy that you forced me to roleclaim, demon. But I guess it's not a complete disaster as it's likely my power is useless with Gourd dead.
Hm, this is quite logical and the flavour suddenly makes sense. One thing I don't like is that Ozzy talked about 2 protectors before demon went out with the full claim. How could he know that? Either he's the second protector and I doubt that or he knows more about demonlord (role cop, private chat).
Personally, your claim seems reliable as Demon, while being voted wasn't nowhere near being lynched for you to fabricate it.

This is a good point. With muffle, the newcomer, he could try to pocket her. But there's no reason to make a statement like this from a wolf's perspective. Wolves don't want townreads and these are silly cheap townreads.
Tbh, both Demon and Cave are getting up on my list. Demon is almost certainly self-resolving at this point and scum!CAVE should have jumped on one of the claims.

I should scumhunt more? mm, right now I've just been trying to collect reasons as to why someone might be scum. When you say scumhunt, do you mean a list? I thought I've pointed out several reasons as to why people could be town or scum. I'm just sitting back watching and reading because I don't have much to say that has already been said, and I don't want to repeat myself.

So, does Ozzy's role mean that he can either help us lynch his buddies or die, if he vote with him? It doesn't sound like a town role at all. I've learnt to doubt ridiculous roles the hard way and this doesn't make sense. Especially if he's town. The role could be real if he were a wolf.

i agree that esby must die. I do not particularly want to lynch him, though, because he is a really easy target for the gunners to agree upon, without speaking, and murder tonight. the only problem with this plan is that it advertises our actions to the scumteam so if they have a roleblocker, that's a problem, but, whatever.
Yes, if there are still multiple gunners, they should target Esby. Docs should target Demonlord, i think? He's a high priority target rn, so he'll probably die if they target someone else. On the other hand, scum knowing that would nk someone else. That means they gotta decide independently.

Ozzy mentioning multiple protectors is a nulltell to me. demon and piano both claimed to have been attacked, so it makes sense to think there'd be multiple protectors. But that does feel more like scum hunting roles than town hunting scum to me, which is something I've felt from Ozzy in other posts too.
Also, Ozzy kinda just stopped interacting with people's arguments after his claim. That definitely feels like he's just trying to sit out the day to await his lynch tomorrow to me.

Yeah, I was trying to compel Tman to talk. I figured that since he was helpful, he may be scum laying low, but no, he just isn't posting.

You guys are legit confusing me. As far as me being overly defensive, I wouldn't call it overly defensive. When I say YM was being overly defensive, they had an aggression to their post and seemed to point back at people. I just give valid reasoning to my case and there is a big difference.
Maybe it's just different than the Mafia game I played but this is getting really confusing and frustrating.
I don't plan on saying anything more about myself since apparently defending myself is scummy. Instead, I guess I'll just "scumhunt" as I should be doing. Even though I've given several reasons several times to why I find someone suspicious.
Just look at my last post for my scumhunt. Sorry if it's not good enough, I just don't like to point fingers without feeling like I have valid reasons of them being suspicious. And apparently that didn't even work, showing as I had several reasons for suspecting Gourd and YET they proved to be innocent!

Sorry. I admit that one came off over defensive, I just got a bit frustrated, and I'm also confused. Anyways, just take it as you will.
YM isn't giving me scum vibes despite them being a bit aggressive in defending themselves. This isn't necessarily a bad thing either, maybe it's just the way they talk. I could be wrong, but I'm not getting a bad read on them.
I'd rather not risk lynching Ozzy if what he claims is true. We don't really have anything else to suspect him of scum, besides a few posts from him that doesn't make sense. The post I brought up does come off as weird, but I can't be sure until I hear Ozzy's reply to it. So I'm going to wait on that.
But if Ozzy is not lying I'd also rather not mislynch someone, so getting him out of the way so we don't lose two at a time might not be such a bad idea. But I don't know why such a role would be put in the game since it's such a negative effect. Maybe it's trying to make us be more careful with our decisions? If that's what it's about I think people are more likely to get him out of the way to avoid a double lynch on accident.
I have nothing to prove Cap and Sol could be Mafia. As I said, Sol seems to be helping out a bunch, as well as Cap. The way they both talk though comes off as flat and insincere to me. However, I'm not pointing fingers quite yet because I could just be reading it wrong, this could be how they talk.
On another note, Ozzy when you reply - why are you so against Cap again?
Oh, and I think Ozzy went along Cave because he promised he'd lynch whoever we picked to lynch. I do think we should have agreed on a lynch instead of Cave going off on his own, and that does come off really weird, but I think Ozzy is just trying to prove his loyalty to what he had said he would do.
Also, sorry about pointing you out for not talking a lot YM. I don't know your time schedule and I guess you just don't seem to point out as much when it comes to everyone else.

It's how I talk when I play mafia. I think you're writing a bit too much fluff around your posts myself actually. I don't see that as a scumtell as I'm the same outside of mafia, but mafia is cold hard business.

I see! That clears up any suspicion due to your writing. That's understandable. Just as you I also write this way, most the time. When I'm not being aggressively humorous. ^-^ I'm sure YM and Cap might just write the same way.
So currently, despite my small bad feelings which could honestly be nothing at all, I'm looking at Ozzy, Esby, and Tman. Tman will probably get modkilled/replaced, Esby I think we should leave to the shooters, and Ozzy we could just test his rolecall.
I'm going to look back in posts and see if I can find anything that I feel should be questioned.
I cancelled my vote on Demonlord before he claimed any roles yes, but he was heavily implying a theory based on people having the same roles, so how did I lie? The entire roletalk started aroind the time I cancelled my vote on Demonlord and built my case on Cap.

I only changed my vote now because I had agreed to go along with whatever vote town is going, even if I don't agree with it.
