CloseAlso, I still can't get over the fact that Cap making stuff up is not bad, it could easily spread bad narratives. Making stuff up to get reactions, I don't see that as a good move at all, if any player that is town aligned reacts rather agressively to any of these made up claims, they'll paint themselves as not reading through thread properly and wanting to search for a reason to lynch someone. How is Cap not on your radars?
Honestly, I don't know what you guys are seeing but I'm not seeing bad intentions from Ozzy's post. It comes off sincere as if he's genuinely trying to help, even if to some of us it doesn't seem like his reasonings are suspicious or not explaining enough. I myself, even without Ozzy, am a bit suspicious of Cap. But this is mostly because of a bad feeling, or maybe that bad feeling is presenting itself from older posts I've read from him.
My heads having trouble reading walls of texts and comprehending it so I can't quote my reasonings for questioning Cap other than a couple that Ozzy has brought up. Maybe when I don't have a big headache and can concentrate I can look around more.

I've thought it over, and ozzy's claim just isn't working for me. Every other role at least serves some purpose in the game, while ozzy has a role that punishes him for voting?
Note: Scenarios do not account for gunmen. Add one extra death to each to account for that.
Worst case scenario: Ozzys claim is real, we test it only to hit town, lose ozzy, then lose a third town in the night phase.
Even if the claim is real, all we lose by voting ozzy is one suspicious townie in the day phase, and possibly one person at night.

It's probable either Ozzy or YM at this point. You can try to make a good case on me or someone else too and go for a cfd (last minute swing aka chinese fire dragon) but I'm not sure how many players are willing to switch.

Hm, my only narrative was that Cave was trying to pocket muffle. That one wasn't exactly clear but I'm not trying to push it anymore as I saw enough development from Cave after it. Also, I managed to find my own reasons to townread muffle later on.
I am going to go out on a limb here. I never like voting for someone I'm not sure about, but I'm also a proponent of lynch-every-day. I'm just not sure about anyone right now. I have a strong negative vibe about Ozzy, but I'm not sure about him, either. Still, he claimed. His claim, I feel, is the weakest of all the claims, but still, he claimed, and I just don't feel right about voting someone who claimed when we can test it out. We appear to have a whole day phase with him if we end up lynching town. So, fine.

At demonlord, the big reason I'm giving Ozzy the benefit of the doubt is that I am town and my role is similarly detrimental.

YM isn't giving me scum vibes despite them being a bit aggressive in defending themselves. This isn't necessarily a bad thing either, maybe it's just the way they talk. I could be wrong, but I'm not getting a bad read on them.
I think most people defend themselves somewhat aggressively - even you kinda did...

Apparently we're running out of time, and for me it's a toss-up between Ozzy (who we can test later), Muffle and demonlord.
One thing I will say is that even if you're new to a game, you can still be good at it. I'm not sure if Muffle being new is an excuse for sometimes overwrought.
It sucks that the majority is between Ozzy and me, because neither of us should by lynched today, albeit for different reasons.

The sun sets on the Aremen mansion, not that the storm and fog outside ever let in much light. An uneventful afternoon ends on a good note - Cap pops in to report that all of Gourd's bloodstains have been cleared from the third floor hallway. Excellent! And Piano summons the family to dinner.
"So of course, we agree this doesn't disqualify me from the inheritance, right?" asks LockeZ, almost as soon as his food is gone. "Jero is still a minor so, even with Gourd's death I should - "
"Lawyer up!" barks Demon. "You won't get a cent, leech! I'm sure the will would state that me and Tungerman should get everything because we take care of the mansion!"
"Uhh," says Jero, "aren't any of you worried about the witch?"
"Oh no, don't worry," says Ozzy, patting Cave on the head. "My little one still doesn't quite understand that make-believe isn't the same as - "
"No! That's wrong! Witches are real!"
Yellow speaks up. "So uh... Anyone seen Tung around?"

The witch's goat butler serves cookies, and after a brief break, the witch returns to her game. The seat opposite the witch is empty and Gourd C. Aremen remains her only spectator. Somewhere, a seagull cries.
"This is a really boring party," says Gourd, coming to the end of his tea.
"Hush. This game isn't for you. I'm setting up the ultimate trap as we speak."
"Trap? Absolutely nothing's happened. Kenton and I died and now the Aremens are wondering how it'll affect their tax filings. Big deal. And it looks like they think Cave and Muffle are the culprits, not witches."
"Silence! If you really want more company at my most elegant tea party, I'll summon some up now. Ready?"

Dawn of Day 3 story:
Dawn comes uneventfully enough. Yellow and Jero sit quietly in the parlor as Muffle, LockeZ, and Demon trickle in, all yawning. But when Piano arrives to announce that breakfast is served, the others still haven't arrived. That's when the family is jolted by a scream and Ozzy skids into the room.
"Dr. Muffle! You gotta get up here fast! It's that weird guy who showed up day before last! He's on the third floor stairs, not looking good!"
Everyone races off to the landing, nerves running high. Demon questions Ozzy as they run.
"You mean Esby?"
"Yeah. Looks like he's been shot," Ozzy replies.
"What were you doing on the third floor?"
"I was going to wake Cave up and I almost tripped over him."
Then Demon trips. The corpse of Esby, obnoxious houseguest, lies strewn across the top stair. Muffle bends over him, but there's no doubt it. She looks up and says, "Yep. Dead. Multiple wounds, looks like a high-caliber slug. And he had this weird badge on 'em. Says 'Chief Inquisitor.'"
"Never mind that random guy," stammers Jero. "Look!"
Jero is pointing at the door to Cave's room, open barely an inch, but between that inch and the doorframe flows a steady trickle of blood. With trembling hand, Ozzy pushes open the door, then drops to his knees. There lies the body of Cave D.B. Aremen, splayed on the floor with a curious wooden stake through the forehead.
"Dr. Muffle! You gotta get up here fast! It's that weird guy who showed up day before last! He's on the third floor stairs, not looking good!"

Going to start as all night actions have been submitted and to stagger the end times a little bit, bumped to 50 hours to compensate. Might have some more info on Tung later.
Cave_Dog focused on Ozzy and Yellow with his final votes, so those two will be the ones we likely recall most, which makes me think they're in the clear. Let's see who else he was on.

I don't see why. All it really does is agree with Cave's scum and town reads.

Cave has observed that most of her posts are overwrought (a comment that Cap_H starts to echo) and overly defensive. He also notes that she rarely posts a scum read.

I just went back and found that Cave states little else until I get as far back as Day One. He doesn't particularly like how YM jokevoted Gourd and then never removed it, and then said all list makers are scum.
So, my thoughts are on Muffle and Cap_H. My big concern is that Cave backed off of Cap_H, so this might very well be a case of scum getting rid of a dangerous player to deflect suspicion onto another. I know that LockeZ hasn't played great. I have my reasons for hard reading him as town, so I won't talk about him.
Also, don't dismiss Demonlord. Having a healing power that's similar to the gun power is not proof of alignment. We have noted that town has abilities that are detrimental to town. We also can't dismiss Ozzy or Yellow, even though I feel like this is likely a deflection to make us think one of them is scum getting rid of their detractor.

Well the plan of having Ozzy prove his bullshit role claim by attaching himself to the majority vote obviously didn't fucking work. And it probably never will, because there's a hammer rule. Even if we can actually agree on someone today, the moment we do so, it's too late for him to vote.
