No, honestly, he would have been the better target for the gunners than ESBY. Bad town can be reasonably ignored. If Ozzy's town, which I sincerely doubt after one post for the whole day followed by the infinite void of silence, I'm gonna be so pissed at him.

I wanted to point out one thing yesterday. Demon is the most confirmed town here. We know that he protected Cave and that Cave protected himself. Cave was probably targeted d1. At this point I wouldn't trust anyone trying to counter claim.
Jero on the other hand shouldn't be cleared just for his shot. ESBY was town after all. Announcing it doesn't make him any clearer.

Well, I'm not aware of any way I can easily confirm myself. I just rechecked my role PM, and there's nothing in it. If everyone else can easily confirm themselves, then I guess gunman really isn't a faction-specific role. This makes it more likely the last gunman is scum to me.

Killing Esby confirms my role but not my alignment, yes. That much is true, so I'm not arguing that. It's not much of an argument, but it was Cave who suggested to kill Esby, not me.

But demon being town and me being scum simultaneously just doesn't work.

We were ready to lynch Demonlord - a town doctor - until Jeroen stepped forward and was like "No his roleclaim is plausible because I have the same deal." That scenario doesn't make any sense to me if Jeroen is scum.

I've thought about it and turned it over and over and over. With this few of players left, I just don't think it's wise to do so unless I'm getting specifically lynched. Now, if you're seriously considering shooting me, then, you're going to do what you're going to do, and that's going to be that. We still haven't hit scum, and I don't want to role claim while we still have at least two scum on the board.

I understand why you want roleclaims for this, I really do, but you know full well that some can be really dangerous, particularly with this few players and a full scum team still active.

My scumdar is pointing at Cap_H, right now, but as with every mafia game, I don't know all the factors. I have no idea who could be fakeclaiming. I did give this some thought though. Notice that there are some patterns that we can observe. Jeroen, you've tied yourself to Demonlord by confirming his power claim. Demonlord tied himself to me by confirming my near miss claim. Now, I have no power or ability, but I have a role. It's a passive one, and I feel like it's very detrimental, which is the primary reason I don't want to claim. It's also why I thought Ozzy's claim could have some merit. Also, notice he hasn't been part of a single vote during hammer at all. I've tried to tie myself to LockeZ and by not distancing himself from me, he's kind of let it happen. YM hasn't tied himself to anyone, but he kind of let something slip in his drunkenness and by process of elimination, I'm pretty sure we can figure him out. Muffle also isn't tied to anyone, but she's not a very experienced player, so that's understandable. She's still trying to figure out where she fits.

Cap_H is the odd one out, here. He seems to be the only one who's really alone in this game. Nothing ties him to anyone. I don't like process of elimination scum removal, but he has beeped red on a lot of people's scumdar this game, and he did try to go after you, Jeroen, even though you confirmed demon's ability, even though you confirmed your own power, and it's true that when you play scum you play excellent, and this could just be a masterclass from you, but if this is a masterclass from you, then I'm not going to go along with it, I'm going to think you're town, and my money's going to be on Cap_H.

Btw, I say you better shoot Cap_H if we end up lynching scum today. If he survives the night, that means that one of the gunners is scum. Again, based on Jero's logic, it's extremely risky to target anyone if today's lynch doesn't flip scum. So only target Cap_H if you end up lynching scum today, which would be either YM or Cap imo.

No, if we mislynch I HAVE to shoot. If I don't, we lose outright if we have 3 scum. While if we have 2 scum, even me shooting town would not lose us the game.

The question is whether I should shoot if we lynch scum. Not whether I should shoot if we lynch town, because the answer to that is yes, without a doubt.

Oh, I misunderstood your statement. Well, my proposed target in case I or anyone else gets lynched, is Cap_H. In case Cap_H gets lynched, my proposed target is YM.
