I don't really understand why the nightkill missed unless other scum is cap_h and he just never showed up. Hitting the monk seems far-fetched, that'd leave Emily and Cap, who would both be way more likely catch suspicion than the cave voters, for instance. And anyone hunting for cops would've just hit piano.
Or last scum is Assassin, that might make some small amount of sense.

They could have gone for the monk, but why when you have a cop right in front of you? I think they withheld.

I just realized Monk claiming only if they got hit isn't completely fool proof. If Monk is scum, they can withhold kill and then claim to have gotten hit to clear themselves.
Monk should still claim if they got hit, though, if only because it fully confirms me.

Not that I really have any other suspects at the moment, aside from I guess Gourd. Not much to do until we can confirm the monk was hit or not.

Interesting they would target the monk instead of the detective. I don't understand why you wouldn't go for the detective in this situation. We just need the monk to confirm to be certain.
I might as well reveal that I'm the assassin. I didn't die last night so the ability cannot be cancelled at this point. I chose ozzy for obvious reasons in that he tried to kill piano after the detective claim.
Another thing worth noting is that the bureaucrat didn't use his power even though he has unlimited uses. Scum bureaucrat could be pretty dangerous to us when were down more players now that I think about it.

Given it only prevents votes, it's really not much help to us in that town wont vote for confirmed town anyways. I don't see any town utility for it unless I'm missing something.

I didn't realize assassin was 1-shot but that does seem like the right way to use it. Although I wouldn't have claimed. Makes it easier to find the other detective.
Bureaucrat seems anti-town but I don't see any scum utility for it now that a scum is dead though.
@piano: has your partner revealed their identity to you? and I'm not advocating this, they should be staying anonymous, but if you know who they are this clears some stuff up

I'm finally here. I need to recheck Ozzy's posts, but I disliked Gourd's post here. Him talking to Cave smells of distancing. Also, his suspicion of Demon is based on parroting and such, while he only calls ozzy's behaviour typical.
I don't see Piano w. Bussing has been a common practice of lately, but I think Cave would prefer to play it clean there.
Jero and PSY look good because of their votes and rational reasons to vote Cave.
Demon and Emily are under radar for me.

Wait cave you think a no lynch is the best option? Why would we? There's no guarantee you're town so that would be silly. I would kill demon if I had a choice but I think seeing where votes fall in the end is the most pro town thing we can do right now. You're a fine day 1 lynch.
My demon preference btw is bc of aforementioned problems I had + now he's kinda parroting others. It feels like he has nothing genuine to add to the discussion. I think his talkativeness is an attempt to seem helpful.

Sorry, real life stuff. They have not revealed their identity.
So,
we got mechanically confirmed town Jero. We can get another confirmed town n2. Then out the second detective. We either have Piano and the second peek still alive or two peeks. This makes it almost an auto.
Also, not killing Piano could be a way to avoid body snatcher.

Cave being scum was quite darn surprising, him basically comitting suicide was pretty dumb.

Also, I gave out my reason as to why I wanted to vote for Piano earlier but I did rescind them because I realized how contrived and unlikely it was and how it was a way better idea to just keep Piano alive and lynch Cave.
Also, Piano is pretty much confirmed Det. Grey right now, because the real Det. Grey would've definetely counterclaimed by day 2 seeing as there is only 1 scum left.

I do get why you targeted me Demon, but it was honestly a waste as you only have one shot and I am town.
One added thing, because of the high likelyhood of me dying day 2 I will say that I am the Papparazzi and I am not sure on what role to use this power on just yet, but I'd rather use it before I get mislynched by town due to me pushing against Piano day 1. I was thinking of using it on the Det. Grey role on day 1 but then thought it would be a waste and a help for scum if Piano was indeed Det. Grey and he then got nightkilled due to me confirming he was indeed cop.

Imo one of the first things the Detectives should have done in this game is check the one that alreadt outed himself as a Detective, in order to make sure scum isn't Detective.
However, this could simply just have been an oversight on your part, I don't think it's an indication of you being scum just yet, as it stands, you're clear from my radar. Also! Reminder to you all that apparently Scum couldn't talk to each other before night 1 if I understand correctly? So if both Cave and Piano were scum which is the most unlikely scenario, there is no way to know if either one bussed the other because they didn't know each other was scum. But I think this is the least likley scenario and Piano is most likley town.
Ozzy being scum with Cave and making that case would be a major fallacy on his side and It doesn't make any sense from a partner's perspective to make that vote (the other wolf should be that one person on the right wagon in an ideal scenario), but I also see several warning sings in his posts.

Tinfoil reasons for piano to fake claim are a nice narrative but nothing to base your read on. Also, i think wolves are less likely to fake claim in this setup than in a normal game.
