oh, i was eager to lynch shinan because the way the day dragged on was unbearable. i did not really have a good reason to, i voted him first because i thought he would be the most useless and i thought that voting psy and leaving was weird, and then again because people were getting testy. i kept the vote on him throughout the first almost lynch and then took it off and put it back when other people voted for him again. mostly i was sick of there not being the proposed random lynch and instead a bunch of meta gaming for four days straight while we just constantly backpedaled on and canceled votes.
I know right? This is why I hate metagaming and 4 day long day phases which I hope never happens again and can go die in a dumpster fire.
The only good thing to come out of the super long day 1 was the fact that there was so much time to post that scum inevitable messed up.

Since when does anyone catch final scum by using a power role? There's only one scum left and there have been no town deaths. This is the best position we could possibly be in.

As far as PA goes, it's pretty obvious that he wasn't really claiming an actual role so it bugs me a little that piano is voting just for that. It is suspicious to claim a bunch of roles, but in a way it does look like breadcrumbing. Piano focused on a single instance of it for some reason in that initial lynch post.
Piano I'm a bit torn on. He did in fact lead the lynch on psy before anyone else, and there is really no reason for scum to be bussing that early. If not for this one fact I'd quickly be putting my vote down on piano.
Tale had that weird thing where it looked like he and psy were coordinating at one point, so he is definitely suspicious in my eyes as well.

Since us not expecting we get 2 scums by the first night and detective end up investigating scum...? Uh that happened in, like, buttloads of games before..??
Anyway, I'm just gonna repeat what I've said that I really, really prefer that the person who got targeted yesterday come out forward.
If you're bulletproof/bodyguard and end up protecting yourself, there's no harm in coming out since you can't protect someone continuously.
If you're bodyguard and protecting another person, good news! You both are confirmed town!

I'm not a bodyguard that targeted himself.
I'm guessing we have some kind of doctor and they saved someone. If the person who was targeted did not receive a notification from CAVE, then we probably won't hear anything about it for now, since the doctor is going to stay quiet. Or maybe we'll hear from them when the other players come online.
Alternatively, if piano is scum (which I think is likely), then he could have withheld his night kill in order in order to provide more cover for himself, since he's losing the game so hard. He did the exact same thing last game. I don't think many other players would do this, unless they were trying to frame piano.

Ok! This puts us at 3 confirmed town then? Those three being IvoryJones, Kittenfood and OzzyTheOne.
That puts the pool of scum down to AlaskanEmily, Demonlord, Fomar0153, Piano, PlatinumAshes, oddrabbit, Tale, and Shinan.
And from those people, my prime suspects are Piano and PlatnimumAshes.
Secondary suspects are Fomar and Tale.
Everyone else I am guessing is town.

CAVE could easily just not inform if there was a hit and scum could have chosen to withhold just as PA said.

Maybe I should explain why I'm so suspicious of pianotm.
First of all, this recent post is so silly that I don't think pianotm would write it if he were town:
Pianotm knows me and he knows I was just messing around. This is move of desparation.
Second of all, it looks like he was bussing both psy and liberty yesterday. Let me summarize what happened on day 1:
1) piano and me are jokingly accusing each other because of him beating me two games back
2) piano says he wants to mislynch me
3) psy thinks this is suspicious
4) piano completely loses it at this point and is dead-set on having psy lynched no matter what
5) no one else is on board with this, and so piano drops the accusation
6) next, he turns to liberty and tries to get her lynched with similarly vague reasons (to be honest I can't remember exactly what his reasons were. Maybe they had something to it)
7) kittenfood votes for shinan. Both liberty and piano immediately vote for him and forget about eachother.
All of this makes sense, if we imagine that they were talking beforehand and they agreed that psy would make some splipup and then get lynched. Even when the rest ignores this, Piano decides it's in his best interest to go after psy as hard as posssible, making it look as if they hate eachother. They couldn't be teammates right??
The bussing fails because no one else is on board. So piano instead starts to try to bus Liberty. Eventually, they also give up on this plan. Then kittenfood suggests we lynch Shinan, and paino and Liberty are both immediately on board with this. Since the bussing didn't work out, and so the next best thing is the lynch the afk'er.

Did you receive any pm about your protection being successful or something along the lines that insinuated that "ivory got targeted but you deflected the attack blah blah blah"? You can't copy the exact pm but you can paraphrase what cave said.

yes, i received a pm but was unsure if i was allowed to tell everyone because that wasn't covered in the rules and this is my first forum game. it just said that my action succeeded.
