"Maybe Cave" doesn't clear Cave to me, for pretty obvious reasons.
Very pro players would just make themselves look offline, and then post at intentionally unusual hours in the scumchat.
4 AM ET is like 1 AM pacific US, isn't it? That doesn't really help that much.

They made like two posts during day phase, but most posts were during night phase.
The post times are difficult to figure out. The largest bulk happened around 6 PM ET, but there were also posts at 12 AM ET and 4 AM ET. That last one could imply European time like me.

Maxwell at first did not agree that we should kill Ozzy, since he was afraid Ozzy was lying about the paper bag item and that one of his fellow agents actually had it and was going to use it on Ozzy. He also really wanted to kill an agent that wasn't Ozzy. Maxwell eventually convinced themself to kill Ozzy because they were afraid Ozzy would serve as the agents' mouthpiece if he wasn't killed.
unless milk has been faking their entire persona of "woaoaoah whats going on I dont know how to play" this game, this implies a level of nuance I don't think they have.

That is actually how the tuba works. You use the tuba, you lose the tuba. Scum has it.

I doubt milk would point out stuff about Ozzy acting as a mouth piece. They'd have to be vet enough to realize something like that, but don't think anyone more than complete noob would think lurkerscum win is something to shoot for

I didn't really push for you until this morning.
So what do you think is odd, the suggestion to vig-kill? I mean it obviously won't help now since Cave buys terrible discount boxing gloves, but how is that a strange suggestion? That's the best strategy since this is our last chance. Why wouldn't you want to do that?
Or that I mentioned LockeZ? I specifically said that I had doubts about LockeZ necessarily being town when I put my vote on you. I don't necessarily think he is scum, but I don't see him as totally clear either. If you believe he is town, please explain why.

These posts look genuine to me. Like Cave had a sudden moment of frustration because he genuinely did not understand that the setup was weird before I said so. And then actually didn't know what this rule was a reference to.
For anyone who wants the full scoop, here is the link to when psy_wombats figured out I was scum in the first Spy vs. Mafia game because the double agent copied and pasted the entirety of scum chat into the main mafia thread, and even though we were using secret code names, psy figured out who I was because I hyphenated the word each-other.
i highly doubt lockez would make this post as scum instead of just saying this shit in the scumchat.

I don't think it's Milk. Milk would have to be playing more in scum chat than in the thread. Maxwell was also very on top of things, calling that I was an agent for not showing confusion/interest about the setup.
I agree the double agent role messed up the setup. The amount of power I have in this game is kind of ridiculous. My first plan was to do the exact same thing I did in agent chat and unmask them all, while revealing myself in scum chat and helping scum get an easy win, but I decided that would be unfair to town.
But you saying that and voting this way feels like someone who's disgruntled about evidence being revealed.

Yeah, if Milk is acting then...I guess great acting, and excellent brinksmanship with the modkill? It's much more likely to me that milk is exactly how they seem.
It was like that in the first game too. I think it doesn't really mess up the setup, it IS the setup.
Also, it probably wouldn't have been that unfair to town if both of the agents hadn't been forced to claim so quickly.
At one point I really thought Cave was the double agent, and wanted to say "come to the light, if you know the last scum's name then we can win together", but I decided the double agent would be much more likely to figure this out before the scum and so I shouldn't say it and possibly warn the scum about that, just in case.

@AE I meant Odd as in characteristic of oddrabbit to fiveway tie things and leave it to chance. You've demonstrated stronger opinions than that so I assume consenting to the chance ending means you are scum and have multiple ways to mess with a chance ending.
I think LockeZ is town because:
- played a zillion games with him, I can basically follow his train of thought and I get where his reads are coming from this game, no leaps of scumlogic
- he townread cave from d1 for ""secret reasons"" which aside from being a very LockeZ thing to do would also be counter productive as scum - it constrains his future targets and it doesn't make him look any more townish
- was the first to speculate I was lying about the tuba. If he's scum, he owns the tuba. I think his line of attack re:tuba is out of paranoia and if he's scum then I guess he's more cold-blooded than I thought haha

I really want it to be Psy because of the Odd post. But it makes no sense for him to try to force Odd to claim in-thread. Unless he was only trying to see Odd's reaction and deduce from that if he really was an agent.
