CloseI'm also not sure on what to think of Gourd's little list, while it does look very useful, I will *gasp* metagame and point out that in the past scum has done this a lot on day 1, usually being the only player in said to post a large list of reads on day 1.
Then again, Gourd didn't really give reads on people as much as he just pointed out the content of their posts, which makes me feel he's town, hence why I'm neutral on him.

It wasn't a jokevote, Gourd sets off my scumdar constantly in every game ever. I actually didn't realize there were already two votes on him.
I read gourd's post breakdown today and my first instinct is to go after him again but it does actually look like he's committing to opinions vs fence-sitting.
I really prefer Hex to fomar. I don't buy cave's call of "flailing scum," especially when fomar was in last game with scum-Cave.

author=pianotma little this and that his reasoning for his later hex vote was very flimsy. a couple people have hex on their list too but he's usually towards the bottom end so could be an attempt at looking useful with a relatively safe voteAlaskanEmilyESBY may have the same bad vibes that I got from his Gourd vote. It could be a joke vote, but it's the third one on him, there's no good reason for it, and it has the very eerie energy of absent-minded scum following a scum-partner's vote.
What are your reasons for thinking Psy may be scum?

yeah if Gourd had just posted the list, I'd be trying very hard to kill him -- I reviewed his post history to find the list again and saw that the next bunch of posts after that were townish though.
Although I don't think his town-reads are good at all, "helpfulness" is not correlated with townishness really.

my current thinking is that cave, piano and demon are definitely town, most others i'm still neutral on and fomar, hex & psy being the likeliest baddies atm
To me ESBY seems more like reserved town than scum trying to hide something, he's said one or two things that makes me think he's town. Scum would be all in favour of rushing to a vote, yet he openly talked against it, which makes me feel like he's town. Besides, my gut's telling me he's fine, so I'm ignoring him for now, I figure he'll be less reserved on day 2.

I could get behind a hex lynch too but it's not needed. Its majority so someone will die regardless. I'd be fine with a hex/fomar split since that guarantees one of them will die and itd be interesting to look after the votes after the flip.

plurality is the one where someone dies regardless. majority is the one where hammer is needed. i have no idea which is being used this game.
Lynching occurs at either the moment hammer is reached, or at the end of the day. If it's at the end of the day, the person with the most votes directed towards them shall die.

tbh I'm not really swayed by fomar's recent posts and still prefer him. i've re-read hex and his posts sound pretty natural to me. idr what he's like as scum and will not do research.

I'm much more against a Fomar lynch than a Liberty lynch, I really don't feel like Fomar is scum at this point. I would rather lynch Hex or Fridge to be honest. Hex has said some reasonably smelly things, and Frogge has too. I also don't like how the main reason not to go after Frogge is that the plays are too basic/obvious/clumsy for scum.

As much as I think it might just be him floundering because he is newer, I have to admit that his large list of "reads" in which he doesn't give any alignment calls is not a good look. The case against him is reasonable and I don't want us to tie (because I don't know what happens then??)

I probably worded it poorly, but I read cave and town on helpfulness which I think breaks up into
1. Actively trying to scumhunt
2. Not metagaming to hell to avoid actual conversation
Not sure if that makes my townreads any better, but tbh I also just get a good gut feeling for both demon and cave

Yeah, I didn't post a large list of reads. They were basically just notes on everybody's behavior to try and get a better grasp on the situation. I'll be the first to admit that I was getting a little overwhelmed and the post was my way of trying to organize my thoughts. ;w;
