Here's how I feel about that claim:

It does feel less scummy than rolecop. It only works on night actions, and someone actually has to USE an action, which would probably make you more likely to catch scum if you targeted them (presuming there are one-shot town roles).

But still, that has the power to discover town power roles, and is more dangerous to any roles that are repeatable.

If you combine that with how unlucky we were to be going straight towards hammer on a cop D1, you must see how that looks. The role isn't exactly super-towny, and the timing is very convenient.

If we all decide to vote emily I will bandwagon (bc she seems very willing to kill a possible detective she was very sure was town until now) but I think Hex is the best idea right now so that't where I'm putting my vote atm.

This is really evasive. We could have been going straight towards hammer on anyone based on the way they were talking. That Fomar is or is claiming cop doesn't make him any more or less special in that regard. The reason we were going after him is that he was acting strangely, not because he was a cop. Your comment here has nothing to do with the cost of tea in China.

It's fair that the reason that you didn't want to vote Fomar is that you didn't read him as scummy. But it seems like you're saying that you're opposed to his exection because it would make you look bad.
