@psy Yeah, but that doesn't take into account that I wanted to get the most out of it could make up for the mislynch on day 1. The possible loss of an investigation seemed worth it if I could gum up the mafia.

@Gourd if you were a town RB, and knew that by blocking the mafia godfather you'd block the nightkill, it'd be counterproductive to block the mafia rolecop etc, because if they're the mafia rolecop... they're not the godfather.

I didn't think he was the mafia role cop. I thought was just lying about being a cop entirely.

Besides, I block roles too. Either outcome would have been fine for me. That's not illogical and I already mentioned it.
