[MAFIA] GAME OVER - FREQUENCY MAFIA

So, here's the thing. When Liberty contacted me I was hesitant to trust her. You can ask her - I even said as much.

I thought, 'If I give liberty my information then she might use it get me lynched because a roleblocker is often an anti town role.' She's ended up doing something similar so here I go:

When I was interviewed by Liberty I thought that maybe she could be an independent trying to help the mafia after all. So, I told her my info, but later regretted and wanted to make sure I had a way to confirm I was town if she did something untoward.

Earlier, I believed that frogge's pm only extended to town roles so I lied: I said I didn't get the pm, but I did. In an earlier post I hid the first letter of the movie frogge was referencing in his pm in a post of mine. This proves I got the pm.

Let me make this clear: If I were scum I would have just said I got it because there would be no reason to draw attention to myself especially at the time.

Now, ASSUMING only town players get it that means there are only a few possibilities for people who could be scum:

Liberty,
Hex,
cave,

Of these, I think Liberty is the one most acting in the interest of the mafia considering her behavior. She is actively trying to get one of the town power roles lynched off of a 'hunch" and very likely two (fomar included) if the frogge message is real. At best she is independent but considering she never got the message and now independents were ver confirmed for this game she could be lying.

As for Hex, his own partner can't confirm his alignment and he is another player who has not gotten the frogge pm. On day 1, he did little to no scum hunting and although I was afraid to accidentally hit a detective at the time, with the new information that's come out I think it is possible he is mafia.

I town read cave and still town read but he also seemingly did not get the pm? This makes him a candidate.

lol, sure, kill an indie when you could go for town instead? i don't think so. that'd be a waste of a night kill. it's why I'm not too concerned that you lot'll kill me tonight - because your aim is to kill all town. I don't factor into that. I'm safe from your nightly kills and even if you do end up killing me, that's one more night and day for town to get it's act together and destroy your scummy hides.

I feel like you're getting in a pre-emptive reason for not being night killed ever. If everything went as you said (which according to Gourd it did), surely you would have been too big a risk to keep alive?

Another possibility you are both scum and this is some amazing bussing. I don't think I've ever heard of double mason like abilities before.

I, unlike you, can prove my abilities during the night phase. Fact of the matter is this: in the game i don't WANT to die, but personally if it means a town win, I've no issue with dying. It won't make me upset because I feel that I've done what I can to help town winnow out the scum hiding in their midst.

Of course, if I don't get killed, I'm happy to keep playing and doing my nightly interviews, but because I'm indie I choose to side with town. My only win condition is to stay alive and while I do want to win, I want town to win too.

It doesn't benefit mafia to kill me when they could kill town, especially once they know what I am and my role is confirmed - which it has been by the fact that gourdy - even if he is mafia, has backed up the truth of what happened between us last night.

Now, if I die tonight, well, town gets another day to kill off scum, I've proved of some use and I'm validated as an indie and my role is shown to be what I claimed. Sure, I lose the game but at least town is closer to winning it as mafia had to waste a night kill on my indie ass.

If I don't die tonight, I can confirm myself by interviewing someone else.

The only issue and roadblock to my doing that is if Gourdy really is mafia and has the role block ability. So, we hang Gourdy, then I can use my ability. If I die, then I've saved town for the night, I've been confirmed as what I said I was and town has people they can focus on killing in leiu of my death. They also have bought themselves an extra day.

If I don't die tonight, I can confirm my role to someone else.

I'm 100% fine with all of that, so no, mafia doesn't scare me.

Don't hammer anyone yet guys, I'm making a chart of possible outcomes if Fomar or Gourd turn out to be mafia, indie or town with or without roles.

So I'm back to one of my day 1 scum reads. I feel like you should know how your power works, it sending your message just to town is far too powerful. Hexatona says you were both confirmed town, you said you weren't. Also FROGGE doing maths, making charts!? You despise maths. I don't know exactly what your radio ability is but there is no way it just goes to town, you are lying about how it works and abusing it as a smokescreen. Also the fact that I was role blocked when I was investigating you, that might have been luck but I'm not taking that chance.

Okay, I've read up to page 33. I did read page 40 to make sure there was no hammer. I'm going to be in Discord chat playing Pathfinder in 5 minutes which means I'll be distracted. It might even totally slip my mind until the game's over that I need to read the rest of these pages. So, based on what I've read up to now, I don't believe Fomar's story. He does mention a single word from the broadcast, but his clue, which I wasn't smart enough to understand in case other people understood it as true, was so cryptic it could be pure coincidence.

psy: I hate policy lynches. Later in the game, sure, but this early? It's just an excuse to not scumhunt and we know who wants to avoid scumhunting.

Liberty: I believe her. Scum would never mess up their fakeclaim that badly.

I'm too lazy to quote and seperate that so i'm just gonna respond to each individual part with numbers

1) It doesn't tell us nothing. It tells us that if we get rid of you or Gourd tonight there's a very good chance we can uncover who the rest of the mafia is depending on your alignments, debunk my theory so that we don't waste more votes going off of it, or just get a confirmation of a few people being town. I have no idea how that's supposed to distract from scum hunting when it was made precisely for scum hunting.

3) You're kind of going on a stretch there. My role description is seperate from how I get that it will be broadcasted to town. My description said what I mentioned in the second quote, and later when I was about to broadcast Odd told me I would be broadcasting to town under a pseudonym. I asked if that meant I could exclusively broadcast to town and he said he cannot say. And yes, it is possible to confirm if we actually get rid of people who did not get the broadcast because it can tell us if it was sent exclusively to town. The power roles thing is not even something i considered until it became a plausible theory earlier in the day. I have already mentioned that I think it's more likely that only town got the pm, though, and that's literally why I've been going after Gourd rather than you originally until Gourd mentioned he got the broadcast but lied about not getting it.

4) "If you are scum" you're basically going off of an assumption with that last sentence. It doesn't scare me. Investigate me again if you wish.
