CloseJust picked it up. I'm always amazed at how well anime sequences translate onto the DS. Great. I've never seen them (haven't played the PSX version), and they were awesome to see. It really makes the game feel a lot more Japanese-esque though I guess.
Japanese version comes in Japanese or English, which is cool. Starting now. Anyone else getting it? It's one of those games that everyone loves and still isn't overrated.

Yeah i've already got it on preorder. I've played the playstation version years ago and that was awesome. It comes out over here in a few days.

It was a part of Final Fantasy Chronicles of something like that.

I'm planning to get CT DS, but it won't be released in Europe untill sometime next year.

The playstation version was awesome. It was animated by Toei Animation and Akira Toriyami. (dragon ball Z)
I played 10 mins of the PS version - it was really choppy and was filled with annoying pauses.
If I had a DS, I'd consider getting this game.

Don't bother with the PlayStation version.
It is choppy and has long load times, even between battles. I bought it and ended up playing the rom on my computer it was so bad.
Also, I'll probably, this is one of my favorite games.

I found it be alright. A lot of the art style was from Akira Toriyama and Toei animation company which i found the cutscenes to be really good.
man, the PS1 port was so shoddy. The load times were terrible, especially since most people playing it were used to it on the SNES.
I'm pretty sure I'm gonna get the DS version... I'm curious about the new dungeon!

Yeah i've just gotten it tonight and have played a little bit so far. Graphics are great and so is the gameplay.

Cant wait. I <3 this game to death. I heard they added quite a bit of things to it, to make it connect with CC though. Though I also liked CC.

Canuck lives in Japan and is fluent so he always posts about these games way before we play them.
Also I am pretty sure that it is out in the US now or next week. It is a Thanksgiving release. I believe it was moved up.

It's out on 25th of Nov according to GameFAQs but Europe has the usual "some day in the future" release date. I might just import it to play over xmas.
