I'm rereading the West Of Eden trilogy by Harry Harrison. For those who don't know, it's a really good sci fi trilogy about an alternate Earth where the dinosaurs didn't die out, and evolved to be the main rivals of humanity. Their descendants (who are technologically advanced) hunt down the few stone age humans left on the planet.
The story's about one of the human warriors who is trying to find a place for his people to settle without fear of being found and shot.

American gods...
I liked this book a lot, but for some reason all the critics who used to call it a masterwork are all hating it now. I have no idea why!
Alice's Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass by Lewis Carroll
The only thing I remember ever seeing a caterpillar smoking a hookah in.

Pendragon Book 7: The Quillan Games
Just bought this yesterday I am an avid fan of the Pendragon series, although I just started reading it again recently finishing "The Rivers of Zadaa" now I'm on the seventh book, it's good so far.

Alice was cute. Now for some manly stuff.
Battle Royale by Koushun Takami.
That book's p great. Loved when
that gory stuff happened and people died
Currently reading: Count of Monte Cristo - Dumas
Battle Royale book version was actually kind of mediocre... It's one of the few exceptions where the movie is actually better than the source material.

You should check out Cartoon History of the Universe Vol I by Larry Gonick. He devotes a lot of time on China and even has a cartoon version of RotTK in one of the chapters. Pretty neat!
Invisible Man, by Ralph Ellison.
It is insane. But it isn't for the faint of heart.
(It has no relation to H.G. Wells, either)
