In RMNCast Episode 4 we discuss SkyE as well as various things happening around the community.

Regular hosts Brandon Abley and Matt “McDohl” return, with Tim “Feldschlact IV”/”Mog” standing in.

This episode is dedicated to Robert Chol Bert.

We are still using PodBean because RMN3 is not yet finished. Through podbean you can subscribe in itunes.

Thanks brandon.
HEY AWESOME

I forgot about this. Listening at the time of this post.

I'm not comfortable with any idea that can't be expressed in the form of men's jewelry

Totally rad. The best lines from my perspective:

<Mog> If you are into screwing emotionally damaged women.

<brandon> Sex reminds me of my step-father.
Just finished listening to it. Good job guys!

This is very entertaining. Everyone's chemistry is massively improving and you are all much more charismatic and funny than you were in the first podcasts.

However:

BRANDON, YOU ILLITERATE MORON, THE WORD VAGUE IS PRONOUNCED VAY-GUH AS IN RHYMES WITH PLAGUE, NOT VAG, AS IN BAG.

"You'd better be careful, you're gonna get McDohl going again and then we'll have to clean the sofa."
Sounds great. Downloading now and will listen to it later on tonight.

I think what he means is you're saying vag with the a as in bag, instead of with an a as in "AYYY" - the Fonz
Man, this one was way better than the last ones. You guys are talking way more and i like this idea of a discussion each episode. It was quite lengthy as well.
The music really scares me, reminds me of those 80s talk shows. Other than that, I really enjoyed it.

The whole bit where you guys discussed the lack of attention span / patience with dying in games was spot on. These young kiddies didn't grow up with unreasonably difficult games like Contra! In my day, you were happy they let you start out where you died and not at the beginning of the level 30 minutes ago. /old guy rant

...isn't it the same 'a'? I say BAYG, and VAYG, and PLAYG - same AYG for each.
Well debates about my particular regional accent notwithstanding . . .

I am glad you guys like the show! We recorded a long time ago, but the holiday, the end of my college term, and personal troubles really got in the way of my getting the edits in on time.

We are committed to at least recording bi-weekly so episode 5 will be out sometime around Monday of next week. Episode 6 will cover Release Something 5!
I always like these. I have some other opinions about some of the concepts you talked about. I think that part of understanding good game design is not just understanding the role that numbers play but also understanding that the whole game is just a visual representation of numbers.

You guys are generally articulate and fairly intelligent so its nice to listen to you talk. I'd like to be a guest host some time, if I could.
