Tomb Raider 2
Tomb Raider 3
Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation
Tomb Raider: Chronicles
Tomb Raider: Legend
enjoy the next few years (tomb raider: anniversary is worth playing too)
Dragon Ball Z: Attack of the Sayajins (or however you spell it). It's pretty good so far - an RPG DBZ with levels and equipment and what not. 2D graphics (oh thank God!) and actual story line.
And fun. Did I mention fun? It's fun!

also OH MY GOD SNOWMOBILE
Finally started Final Fantasy XII again. I got stopped by that DAMNED Elder Wyrm with it's DAMNED Sporefall move. I got so tired of trying to kill it that I tried to go around the long way, but that was a no-go as all the hellhounds everywhere else were like 13 levels higher than me and came in packs of three.
I ended up spamming my quickenings until he was dead. there's actually a very interesting trick to getting the most out of your quickenings: take all the characters out of your party but one, and start his off at his lowest quickening. keep spamming them and charging them until you run out of time. When that's done, bring in another character with their max mp (only one) and do the same. When that's done, bring in your third party member and do the same. if the boss isn't dead, remove one party member and replace with another, repeat.
You end up doing like twice as many quickenings by the end of it all. (bastard still managed to get a sporefall off on me...)

I set up Water as my main offense and went through the hellhounds. :\
Ended up going back at level 60-ish and dueling it one-on-one with Vaan, barehanded for extra humiliation.

After going through The Stillshrine of Miriam, I have decided that I am underleveled, underfunded, and have the wrong weapons on everybody.

Persona 4 and Rouge galaxy
What do you think of Rogue Galaxy? I always see it places, but I never pick it up.

wrong weapons on everybody.
Best weapons for everyone: Guns. The only things they can't destroy (flans) are horribly weak to magic. Also, bird killing.

But they're sooooo sloooooow I keep balthier with one, and that's about it. I do really like how they cut through defense though.

Persona 4 and Rouge galaxy
Rogue Galaxy has the biggest and most annoying mega-dungeons (like planet-size dungeons). The menus are fun, and the battles are fun the first 151356135135135315 / 500000 times, but it is a dungeon crawl with horrible dungeons.
I love Final Fantasy XII and would love to replay it - if I could play it in HD. I don't care about NEXT GENERATION GRAPHICS so much, but the low resolution for FFXII has two problems on my HD set:
a) The textures are so detailed at low resolutions that the whole screen is a jaggy, incoherent mess. It looks great in SD, but HD it actually causes eyestrain.
b) The text and everything is low-resolution and does not have optimal readability.
SD CRT sets have natural, warm anti-aliasing because of the way scanlines were set up, but my LCD HD set does not have that. I can always turn on smoothing and make it look blurry, but then the problem is worse. I have heard that really nice plasmas don't have this problem, but my current television already cost two weeks' salary.
I have always wondered how HD CRTs would look - I bet you they would look really nice. I know that they are out there but that they are the size of a yacht.

I'm not really far at the game, but up till now it's fun.
However,it's not really a original RPG
(And I think the characters are pretty lame(exept the scottish mole)

You mean like this?
Playstation 2 emulation may be further along than you think!
(I couldn't find a way to reduce the aliasing of the text, but I didn't try too hard)
(it is also the international version with English text)
post=114444Star Ocean 4 wants to say hello.

stretchy!
My brother rented Assassin's Creed II and is planning on buying it after Christmas. I never got into AC1, but I didn't really give it a chance. I'm really enjoying AC2; I haven't gotten to do much real assassination yet, but the plain combat is fun, if pretty clunky.
Also, throwing knives are awesome.
EDIT: The Subject 16 sidequest is awesome. This game has a goddamn meta-meta-plot.
