WHAT VIDEOGAMES ARE YOU PLAYING RIGHT NOW?
Posts
Gearing up my Platinum game for the GTS flood, breeding babies from hacked stuff I got and getting ready to do some serious EV training to destroy stuff better with my Rotom.
Hopefully getting FFXIII in a couple of weeks, so been playing quite a bit of Pokemon Pearl in the meantime, somehow I'm battling through the slowness of the game, and have just beaten the fighting Gym, using only a Torterra (Well, I have a Bibarel and Ponyta too, but Earthquake was good enough for the whole fight). I swear, I'd beat this game with just Torterra if I could, if there weren't some really annoying problems such as the need to use surf....
Strange Journey.

Playing a lot of Berzerk on the Atari 2600 and Counterstrike. (Not very good for an RPG forum I know.)

Just finished AAI: Miles Edgeworth. I will be playing SMT: Strange Journey very soon.
Purchasing SMT: Strange Journey in an hour, and I've also been playing chaos' Speak No Evil.
INFINITE SPACE. (which alot of the time feels like Suikoden....IN SPACE! surprisingly)
For the most part, it rules. Definitely best DS game I've played this year (apart from AAI of course). User interface could have been a bit friendlier but you get used to it after a while I suppose.

I'm interested in Infinite Space. How similar to Suikoden is it, exactly? I need to read up on it more; I'm not quite sold.
Running around getting crew members, heavy political drama and that's really it I guess.
It's definitely a niche title (pretty steep learning curve) and battles aren't all that interesting but pimping my battleships is so much fun.

Sold... but not until I finish SMT: Strange Journey and Desktop Dungeons (everybody read the topic plzkthnx).

This, but the other way around since I'm currently playing Infinite Space but don't have Strange Journey.
So I finally went and bought a copy of M.A.G.
It's got me thinking that I want to see a game that faction commanders can play like an RTS, with units that actually have some amount of intelligence (i.e. real people).
Edit: Also I somehow got into a discussion about Super Smash Brothers Melee glitches with one of the gamestop clerks when I bought the game.

Man I should be in marketing
For some reason playing Dynasty Warriors 6 with the openings of the Shakugan no Shana makes the experience all the more enjoyable and awesome. Guess it's a combo of two awesome things *shrug*
Edit: Critical hits from Guan Yu hurt... damnit...

Currently playing Infinite Space and SMT: Strange Journey. I won't be able to complete either game before Sakura Wars comes out. I'm having a niche RPG overload.

This.
<Zelenin> ...You two make an adorable pair.
FFXIII mostly, just upto Brynhildr (Argh I hate Eidolons...) so just grinding some CP from the foes around that area. Ahwell, atleast this means the rest of the characters will havea good pile of CP to use later.
Also playing Just Cause 2, only just started but decided to go for a drive... must say it's pretty relaxing without enemies chasing you, only thing that's gone wrong is me underestimating a turn and losing my bike off a cliff... ahwell
Edit: Nvm, just beat Brynhildr with probably about 10 secs left on the clock. Definately a thank fck for that moment!

Beat Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth the other day.
CASE 5 HUGE FUCKING SPOILERS
The first time Alba went up to full stature I flipped my shit.
That put it back in its regular position after flipping my shit at Shih-na's reveal, which even though I had an inkling thanks to seeing similarities in the profile pics, still caught me completely off-guard when she broke into the "keeling over laughing" animation. Although her final breakdown freaked me the fuck out.
Thoughts on the game as a whole? I think it's the second strongest game in the entire AA series, behind PW3. The writing was awesome, the cases were satisfying, and I actually liked the prolonged final showdown with the final guilty party. It made it feel like everybody was pulling out the stops to nail the bastard to the wall, which I didn't really feel at any other point in the series that I can recall at the moment.
Next up is another shot at Persona 3: FES.
