WHAT VIDEOGAMES ARE YOU PLAYING RIGHT NOW?
Posts
After tossing Monster hunter 3 into the blast furnace, I've been playing No More Heroes (1). Fun game, if not unpolished; but maybe that's part of the whole shtick. Up to the real final boss now; and really - these damn battles are way too long. I hate it, but I love the tension the length of these battles give the game. I haven't felt anything like this since the NES days.
I don't like The Darkness. Back to Manhunt. My brother managed to find the new Silent Hill and Fatal Frame 4 with an English patch, so maybe I'll play those soon too.
Been playing the original Sin and Punishment for the n64, I was surprised to see this was made by treasure. The controls are actually really complicated for a rail shooter, but I see their intent on the design. Hopefully the sequel makes good use of the wiimote. This game is actually pretty damn hard.
Playing Fragile Dreams ~Farewell Ruins of the Moon~. It has very interesting gameplay elements though changing the camera with the wii remote gets pretty frustrating at times. D: I cant figure out if it's me, the sensor bar, or the game screwing this up. Maybe a little of everything?! But other than that....it's intriguing. The story line isn't the most amazing thing I've ever come across but they execute it nicely in a fashion that it's not utterly boring as one would think 'finding the silver haired girl!' as the plot motive would sound. I confess it totally won my heart with the random gay kiss scene?! Not to mention the game art itself is beautiful. ;o;
And I'm playing Harvest Moon: Hero of Leaf valley on the side. :B
My brother is pressuring me to play monster hunter 3 actually! XDD

SILENT HILL: SHATTERED MEMORIES IS FUCKING AMAZING.
marimo: I've wanted to play Fragile Dreams for a while now, and gay kiss scene makes me want to play it even more. :D

I don't want it to end.
You're in luck, there's an incredibly bland expansion pack after Dragon Age: Origins.
@Orig: Ok I tried so hard to play that game but I'm the biggest wuss so I couldn't even get into the building before freaking out. HAHA IT'S THAT BAD. But I really wanted to try because of that psychoanalyzing statement. I wanted to see how it'd use that information against me. XDDD
And yesss play fragile dreams! Play it! It's not scary, but it can get kinda creepy if you're playing it alone at night sometimes...but I did mention that I am a wimp. X'D And Crow is totally a cute guy worth kissing! I mean, really! And you have the option of befriending all of the stray cats. I'm not sure why but they're cute when they run towards you as you come close enough.

Just beat Dragon Age: Origins.
If my actions are the "norm" or expected or whatever, then the game just made itself a really awesome sequel hook and made an almost literally forced character (who was interesting and fun, anyway) much more relevant to the big picture. Hopefully this isn't ruined in Awakening.
Also, Zevran is quite attractive in his formalwear!

What I'm talking about:
A sequel about your child with Morrigan, cured with the Urn of Sacred Ashes (which I kind of interpreted that she stole in the months after the game). Whether she's heroine or villain in a sequel that isn't Awakening(?), that totally opens up a lot of possibilities. And, depending on where she went, easily sets the game in a different country. I'm hoping for Antiva, but it'd probably be Orlais.
Brought Eternal Sonata (for £5.50!) and Resonance of Fate. Resonance of Fate is the most fun I've had in an RPG for a long time. Really enjoying it. Any disappointed FFXIII fans should look out for it as I'm giving it two solid thumbs up!
Eternal Sonata is worth the money I paid for. It's sickly sweet but manages too change up battle mechanics before things become to repetitive. Also Polka is hilarious, she is blissfully unaware (or just plain doesn't care) about everyone who's dieing. She just wants to sell some Floral Powder.

Yeah, Resonance looks good - however, since I'm unbearably cheap, I'm waiting for it to drop to 15-25.
Still playing Tales of Symphonia, and just recently started grinding in Crisis Core some more.

marimo you're getting me jacked for this game!
LWG: Really? The battle mechanics got real old for me, even after the variety of change ups. The dialogue was piss poor and there was next to no story. All of the pseudo endings before the real ending pissed me off, too. I guess it might be worth that much, but I was a dunce and paid around $30. XP
Flower, Sun, and Rain. I got it for Christmas and finally started it yesterday. It seems kinda interesting. Boring but I feel like it'll pick up. I don't appreciate all the fourth wall breaking. I do like Killer7, it's roughly the same style.

It's like a bad "Tales Of" game isn't it? I think the worst thing is that every single dungeon in this game only has two different enemies (which are just stronger versions of the enemies two dungeons back only with palette swaps). Battles lead to either three of the first type of monster, three of the second type of monster or a mix of both. Fun!
I recognize that it's a bad game but unfortunately I've pretty much exhausted every other RPG on the 360, plus it's a nice break from Resonance after I rage quit (I'm actually rubbish at games. All games).
