why would i heal when i could equip a morningstar

I really wanted Ionae and Enshadu. I liked ALL the characters except Mercious or whatever his name was.

Ferwin is funny simply because everything he says is pretty much instantly turned into a falsehood (this place is safe! This balloon is safe! These monsters are easy! etc.).

I am also playing Symphony of the Night (my first Castlevania game... should have gotten into it a looooong time ago) and enough Edifice to choke an ostrich.
Bought Future Cop: LAPD pff the PSN, and its as awesome as I remember it being. I have a CD copy, but it has the problem of being uncompletable, thanks to scratches it picked up over the years.
I thought you quit RMN or something, Craze.

Also, I am playing Witcher 2 and Minecraft.

Loved the first, and LOVED the second. Too bad I never finished either of them (never beaten the last boss in the first game, and in second game I get destroyed in the jungle). 2D side-scrolling indie RPGs.... we need more of those.

EDIT: Anyways, the PSN Welcome Back program is finally up, so I am downloading my free inFamous, followed by WipeoutHD Fury.... will be a good weekend.
thanks to craze i'm replaying The Spirit Engine 2

i'm using PyanPau and his smug expression is hilarious. one of the scenes literally made me laugh out loud because of that.
I just finished Metal Gear Solid 4, its a great game but Its always sad at the same time rewarding to finish a great game... (-_-) now what...

I guess spirit engine looks o.k...
I've been playing through the megaman X series. So far I've beaten 1-4 and 6. I'm at Sigma in the 5th one and it's pissing me off soooo bad. His gamma form is super easy to fight except for one move that is just a GIANT PURPLE FUCKING SQUARE THAT DOES RIDICULOUS AMOUNTS OF DAMAGE ASKHDKASJHD:LKAJSKDJSD WORST ATTACK EVER.
x5 sigma is pretty easy. x4 sigma giant-robot form is a way more hard

Just finished evo search for eden, pretty funny ^^

Giant-robot form? He was never a giant robot in 4. He was like the grim reaper, then the cloak gets burned off, then he becomes two different sigmas. One with a big gun and the other appears as some weird head in the floor that sucks in debris and shoots it out. However, he was a giant robot in 3, but that was extremely easy imo. Sigma in 5 is still easy, it's just one random bullshit move that kills me hardcore.
the gun robot is the height of the screen and the disembodied head is twice the size of the player. i think that qualifies as giant!

It's nice to know somebody knows what the shitties move X5 Sigma does! (the second is getting trapped by his hands)

With X5 Sigma the safest place to be when the hands move offscreen is the upper corners of the room. It's easiest to avoid the purple cubes moving down the wall, across the room, and getting back up to avoid the side-to-side follow up. You can fake out the cubes a bit too with half jumps. If Sigma doesn't do the purple cube attack drop to avoid the lightning balls or the hand without issue.

X4 Sigma is just a battle of attrition. Gun-Sigma is a pushover that you shoot a lot while he pretends to be threatening. MegaMaidSigma has two moves: The one where you shoot him a lot while he pretends to be threatening and the one where you're too busy trying not to get hit to shoot him. GunSigma dies long before MegaMaidSigma gets down to half health most of the time because of this.

(the real bullshit boss is Nightmare Mother in X6 thanks to random lightning bolts that you can't evade)
Finished inFamous as a total evil guy, loved how one of the choices I made didn't turn out so good (damn Kessler and his twisted game). Felt kinda bad about some of the decisions I had to make, so I will soon replay it, good-guy style this time (though I loved how I looked at the end of the game as a pure evil bastard, you can't go wrong with black/red lightning).

In the meantime, playing Diablo 2 again, as a Windy Druid this time, finished normal so far, been a breeze. Want to see how he fares in Hell.
Breath of Fire IV

This game is so stylin'. It actually has very few concrete flaws, like, at all. I wonder why it wasn't much, much more popular.

X4 actually wasn't that bad. It was rough but I've had much worse. The only time I really had trouble was when MMSigma was sucking me in but then I started staying far enough away where one of the Sigma heads would catch me, and then I'd use the Frost Shield to negate pretty much all of the debris being shot at me. I still died a lot though.

Nightmare Mother in X6 didn't leave me any fond memories either. I used the Shadow Armor to finish her and Sigma both. Mainly because the damage output from it's ultimate is ridiculous (I think it took more than half of their health away, but it's been years since I beat it. After X5 I'll be playing it again.)

Kinda dumb characters, kinda stupidly easy for a long time, kinda dumb fishing (fishing is always dumb).

I do like the battle system itself, but it's not fun for a looooong time because all you do is press attack and heal.
I loved fishing whatchu talkin' about. It's slow, but it's also rewarding and technical, and optional. I also liked the characters, they weren't MASTERS OF DEPTH but I wouldn't call them stupid. Scias is pimp.

I found the battle system fun from the first few hours in, from enemies who transform from certain attacks, gaining items whether or not you break their armor, conditions you have to trick the enemies in which to learn skills, setting them up, etc etc. I dunno I'm playing through right now and I'd have to say unless you grind and stock up a lot you can't really expect to blast through most of the battles. You can only tear through shit as Fou-Lu, and that's because that's intentional.
