In WASHINGTON!
Seriously, what the hell...?
In WASHINGTON!
Seriously, what the hell...?
It's -39*C with the wind chill today. Balmy!
We've been caught in a cold snap for nearly a week, and it looks like it won't let up until after Christmas. The high won't be higher than -20*C, and the windchill will make it feel 10 to 20 degrees colder. Ugh.
This Saturday it's supposed to be -41*C with the windchill.

@kentona: I'm already freezing by just reading the temperatures!
Here in Dresden, Ger it's currently snow-raining with about 0°C and wind calm. It's as usual getting mild around Christmas Eve, frost and snow instead we already had the last weeks.
I want some snow again!

Expected -30 w/ windchill tomorrow, hanging around -20 for the rest of the week (until Calgary weather fucks it all up like it usually does)
Damnit that's where all the cold air is coming from. Thanks a lot Saskatchewan

The town I'm in is literally is in this land depression that makes kind of a bowl shape that it sits in. So any kind of precipitation rarely actually falls here because it just goes around. Which is good whenever it's tornado season, but it's bad whenever you want to see some freaking snow once in awhile. Right now it's just cold, and cold sucks if there isn't any snow/good reason for it to be cold.
Mornings here have been fluctuating between -10C and -25C, but apparently the low for next monday is -30C.
Last I've seen...it's around -1*F to like -5*F here in Denver...O_o but it sometimes gets to around just below 32*F

Nothing but sunshine here in the Cayman Islands
im gonna break my foot off in your ass
Yeah, it's snowing here, and when it isn't snowing, it's just cold.
It's actually rather warm here in Atlanta. It won't last for too much longer, but it is kind of nice.
The coldest it ever gets down here is a little bit of wind during Decemeber, other than that we have 2 seasons ... Summer and Hurricane season.
it's 10 - 40 degrees F here in UT and the snow sucks because it is melting on the sidewalk by day and freezing there by night causing me to fall on my ass all the way to the stupid bus stop >:(

You know, it's still not too late for a December storm like in the past several years. Watch your karma.
Here in Florida, it's 79 degrees and sunny, but it's been down to near freezing in the last couple weeks, and the warmer weather after COLD *for FL* weather leads to fog. That sure beats scraping ICE off the windshield (in Florida? Blasphemy) like I had to on December 3rd.
However, it will get chilly again just like in Atlanta this coming weekend (Dec 21).
Yes. Florida is not always the tropical paradise people believe it to be. In fact, the only place in the state that has never seen wintry weather is Key West. In the great storm of March 1993, the western panhandle saw almost half a foot of snow in places! That's bad when a spring storm can bring snow to the Gulf Coast.
That said, the only ice usually seen in the state is hail from summer thunderstorms. And usually if Florida is getting hammered by winter weather, the north has it even worse!

Big ice storm expected tonight. It's beginning to look a lot like christmas!
There snowed a bit few days ago, but seems it all melted away already. The point where it starts getting seriously colder has moved moreso towards Jan than what it was here before.
It's only around 0 celcius or a bit plus in Dec anymore. :(
