Now...I'm not fliping out because it's a shit award, I would do the same if I got best game of the year or what not...because like I said before.
1.) My game isn't even out yet until a few more weeks
2.) I don't wanna win anything misao or wisao related

S4D, correct me if I'm wrong but didn't you have like tons of different release dates planned all in 2008 but you kept bumping it up until it become March? You were advertisting its release for 2008 originally but kept delaying it, therefore, Vaporware.

Vaporitis is a bit loose as a Wisao category because it doesn't actually require a game release. It is for games that are relentlessly spammed (much like Monopolo was in the past) and either:
a) never materialize.
b) materialize without 90% of the features.
Also, removing games is basically adopting censorship. I am strongly against doing that.
Now stop bitching, grow up and take it like a man S4D. You are simply taking the shit you had sown many moons ago. And if you do indeed have an awesome game release, don't worry about it, release it, and prove them wrong.

In an ancient era, there was a time when RPG Maker games ruled the Misaos. It was an era where RPG Maker users reigned with a knowledge of irony. An era called Misaonea.
Still, it was NEVER released, I think this award would of probably been more fitting if I was still like halfway done and stuff, but I'm like 90% done now...so I don't see why this is happening, also that shit with pulling out of RM and the crap hype that Strangeluv did back on GW wasn't my doing...so I seriously don't get it, I also don't get how Barkley is being nominated for the worst game ever this year, well...you can at least say that the misao awards always bring the best out in people, from confused makers to the angry ones...yep, all we need now is a giant monkey and a hologram of WIP to congratulate the winners. Yep...that would be sweet.

Exactly why it's called vaporware. Think 2008 and not 2009. The Misaos have spoken.
Chieftains, I am very appreciative of all the love for Backstage but Backstage was released in its exact current version in 2005, and hnce is probably ineligible for most 2008 Misaos, especially game of the year when it is from a different year entirely.
If you are still feeling generous, please consider playing/nominating Backstage II which had its real first demo release this year, Ruptured Souls, or any of my other more recent games. If you liked Backstage that much, it's likely you'll enjoy its sequel (B2) or spiritual successor (Ruptured Souls) just as much.

I nominated Backstage II for biggest disappointment as I don't know maybe it was the long wait or just my general interest in Rpgmaker nowadays that it kinda fell short of my expectations. Still a good game though.
