Even in a democracy, spoiled ballots aren't counted. I'm having a tough time believing your nominations weren't intentionally spoiled.

Truthfully, most of the games I thought would be nominated have been. The only one that baffles me is Barkley. Why the hell did that game get nominated so many times?

But who the hell put Mage Duel in Game Design: Best Game Design? Oi. Legion/Dudesoft disagreements aside: That is the worst placement. Especially considering Pirates, Hello Panda and other great innovative games that came out. :) Has no one played a Cactus game even?

C'mon man, don't whine about it.
You can go read the nominations yourself, but Mage Duel got the most nominations in the game design category out of any competing game.
If you would really like to see those games you mentioned get up there, give them more exposure here (and elsewhere).
Personally? I'm rooting for Iji, myself.
I feel bad about voting in some of the categories because a lot of them happen to have one game in it that so greatly outclasses all the competition (Iji, USG, etc)

I did look it up, it got nominated by a couple nobodies. It worries me that great indie games aren't being considered, Ghost in a Bottle aside. I mean, even Pirates was nominated in other areas, but not one the one I really want it to win. Oh well! C'est la vie.
