HOW MUCH TIME DO YOU SPEND ON THE COMPUTER?

My own concern spawned this question; I am spending way too much time on the computer. I am currently between jobs (and not much money to boot), and I spend about 12 hours of my waking day on it, which in my opinion, is not good.

I really need to spend my time doing other things, constructive things, living life, but unless I am out somewhere with friends/girlfriend, running errands, or whatever, I am usually on the computer and I hate it, sitting here staring at a screen. But it's...so addicting, though.

Hopefully, with this new job and more income coming in, I will have the scheduled stability, money, and discipline to cut it down dramatically, while still getting things done. Also, with the weather getting warmer, I can finally go outside, which I love.

So how much time do you spend on the bright shiny box?

When I a home, I'm on the box. That said, I head out a lot, to go play card games do nerd things, hit the corner store, chill at a friend's, or just mess around. I head out less often in summer though.

I spend quite a bit of my free time on the old PC.

Luckily that isn't much. I hate to sound like a prude, but I don't think it's good for you.
I agree in the opinion that it really, really isn't good for a person to spend a lot of time on the computer.
On the internet: About an hour or hour and a half a day max.

On an internet-less computer (the one I use to write on): Two or three times the above.

The former I'm kind of wasting my time on, but the latter I only use to listen to music, watch movies (or Scrubs), or write. Usually I browse the interwob while waiting for the tea kettle to whistle, tell myself that I'll get off once I've made my tea, and end up staying on for way way longer than I would like, for no real reason other than boredom and laziness.

It's a good thing my room computer doesn't have internet connection, otherwise I'd never get anything that's in the least bit productive done.
It's not that the computer is addicting, it's because I have nothing better to do. So therefore I tend to spend a lot of time on here doing mindless, meaningless things. Once I get a freaking job (wal-mart ended up being a bad choice) then I'll be a lot more active in life and not here. Funding for my shenanigans really helps, which I don't have at the moment. I'm also swarmed with freaking homework all of the time (physics, chem II, trig) so I tend to do that..usually. Which, I'm getting all of my hard classes out of the way this year, so next year I'll be doing a lot more things not here. I think the most amount of time I spend on the computer is at night, in which I just watch anime until I fall asleep.

Dude. Exactly the same story here. Well, I'm on a gap year and supposed to be saving up for uni, still living with parents so technically I can get by without needing to pay for food etc. (only need to pay rent when I'm earning...) But I am just glued to the computer pretty much from when I wake up to when I go to sleep.

I'm looking at some kind of student-summer-job-working-at-a-holiday-camp program, but for now I am seriously thinking of volunteering just so I can actually get up and DO SOMETHING. :-\

Almost literally all of my time. I use my computer for communication, work (looking for a job), fun, writing, RM, and sometimes just dicking around on the interwebs or getting sucked into wikipedia.
I tend to go on it throughout the day in 1-hour intervals. More so at night and if I'm doing something like web designing/RPG Making then I end up not sleeping at all!
University (classes): Digital media major, thus most of the time.
University (job): Laptop IT, thus most of the time.
Home (general): Homework/Personal Projects/Random Internet Stuff/Games = 65-75% roughly, probably more.

Yeah, I spend a lot of time on the computer. :P
While I'll agree that spending a large amount of time an the computer is not good for you, I will admit there are somedays where I will, literally (short of eating and using the bathroom), be on the computer ALL DAY.

However, I get a new Wii/Xbox game, I'll play that for a few days straight, sometimes all day as well.
Probably around 50+ hours a week.

I do all my work using a computer. It is kind of unavoidable these days. :/

I used to spend every day as soon as I got home from school till 6 or so on the computer. I picked up guitar so I wouldn't waste so much time on the comp and started going to the college gym on fridays. It doesn't feel like its enough.
It's surprising how much nothing I can do on the computer and still end up going to bed like after 3:00 am.
You'd think that I was doing something constructive every night, but nope, nothing at all.
From the moment I wake up, to the moment I go to bed. And I sleep 8-10 hours a day, so that's about 16 hours everyday except 1st and 4th Sunday.
