IS THERE AN EASIER WAY TO HAVE TIMED ANIMATIONS?(RPGMAKER2003)

Having charsets animated like they're talking and then pause for a set amount of seconds. Like, say..20 and then loop? This is kind of a silly question but it's been bugging me!
