It's simple. Replace three of the green LEDs with red ones and take one green one out and wholla! New Xbox.

That's not a fair comparison, because any technology built before 1990 can withstand a direct nuclear strike. When I was a kid I could have tossed my Game Boy from the top of an apartment building and it would have still worked.
When I accidentally dropped my GameBoy, the screen cracked in half and failed to show anything on the screen. This was from say, 1 metre. Also, my NES fails to read most games and I went through 3 SNESs so it's not really worth comparing. Nintendo have an issue with their lasers on the Wiis so it's pretty much all companies failing to meet standards. Idk if there's anything wrong with PS3s though.

The PS3 generates so much heat that I don't use it during the summer, and I leave it on during the winter instead of paying for heating.

Yeah the thing does get pretty hot, and I think sometimes it just starts failing to read anything (This is rare though from what I understand.) Also doesn't it have some kind of yellow light thing akin to the red ring of death?
