It makes my eyes want to immolate themselves every time I crawl back into the depths of my Photobucket account...

Circa 2005!

That doesn't look too bad..

Unless you're supposed to be able to walk on that ledge to the upper right.
It seems I was suffering from amnesia f some sort, what I said was NOT my first game at all, not even my first 2k3 game.

My first game was on RPG Maker 3 for PS2, called Earthquest. You had to travel around and stop some guy from stealing a magical chalice that gave people special powers when they drank from it.

Sadly it stands as the only game I have ever finished, and after completing it I accidentally saved over it, with the sequel.

Orig, your new screen is disturbing to say the least.

If by "disturbing" you mean "totally fucking awesome," I would have to say I agree.
I still remember my first game.
I stole resources and made crappy maps.

yeah that's right, I'm really just a complete noob
Man, I NEVER get tired of watching that video.
Okay, I found some screenshots:

Now I look at this, and I'm like holy shite I thought that was good three years ago?!
My first game was about homeless people.

Take that.

AA was your first game, huh? (Hey it was about homeless people!)
No no, AA is far from being my first.

My first game summed up:
- Homeless people VS Homesome people (aka people with homes)(you played on the Homesome side)
- Everyone had titles like "Homesome Hero", "Homesome Ninja", etc.
- When you tried to buy something, store owners would be like "death to homeless people!" and if you didn't agree, they'd refuse to sell you anything.
- Later on you find some girl in the middle of nowhere who laments not having a home. You then give her a home and she joins your party. Her title was "Not Homeless"
- Then you go thru a cave dungeon consisting of exactly 1 screen, 1 locked door, 1 switch to open said locked door, and 1 boss fight with homeless people that looked like the cait siths in the RTP. You could pretty much see everything from the entrance.
- You then go to the Homeless Tower and fight with the Homeless King. The only way to win was to mention that this tower was his home, thereby making him not homeless.
- The Homesome Ninja was a secret character named Ajnin.
- Did I mention it was 95% rtp and 5% conjumbled graphics?

Of course, this was all back when I was first learning the program. Part of me wishes I still had it. The other part of me thinks that part of me is retarded.

Hee hee ^^ I wouldn't mind playing a game with that bad of a story if it was at least fun. Real world example: Grandia III. It's just like the video

BLEEEH im evil i kill gods and stuff
I had a mysterious dream last night....
NOOO

Pretty much Grandia III in a nutshell. Battle system is awesome though.

My first game was called Destiny's Child............

It told about some young guy whose sister got kidnapped by evil dark guys who needed her / or the protagonist to complete their evil plan to conquer the world. And the king's assistant was evil traitor, too!

The mapping was ok for RTP, but the concept and everything else along it were total shit. After playing first time other RM games, some like FF EN, I really started looking forward to improve a lot. My following projects were umm.. something like Dragon Slayer, Twin Kingdom Saga, some FF game, Mog Adventure, The Puppet, etc... I wish I still had few of those games.

ps. I have never been good with the names.
I made my first game with the RPG Maker for the PS2, and it was total shit ;-; You could only run around a poorly designed game world, that's all... This Maker was just too complicated x,X
I'm starting to feel pretty good about myself

my first game (The World Tower) was actually pretty well recieved for a first game
Yeah, I love the fact that you're using Etoiler's graphics :3
Only the title screen looked... Decent...
the title screen is horrendous

I like Etoiler's battlers alot, I'm gonna use them for my next game too, since it has the same quirky light hearted tone World Tower has (hopefully with much better balancing this time)
Yus, Etoiler's style is great :3
I think Craze is also using his battlers. But Etoiler's facesets for the VX all have this uggly white frame :/
Yeah, Craze uses them too, and a few other VX'ers I know of prefer them

the faceset's white frames looked pretty good with the layout I used, though
