WHAT ARE YOU WORKING ON NOW?

Weasel bro your screens look awesome. Is this for a SECRET PROJECT?

I GOT A WORLD MAP

Love that map, Feld. It looks great, especially the ragged coastline and the rivers!

Getting better. Check out my diagonal waterfalls, WOO~ Just need to get some diagonal spray happening. God I hate diagonals!
First boss in the game is now operational! She attacks, forms a "web barrier" which restores her health until it is destroyed, and summons spiders to her side.

Need to balance the amount of damage spells do (way too overpowered as it stands right now). Not really sure the best way to go about doing this.
Just got inspired again and now writing as fast as the FIST OF THE NORTH STAR.
It's really different when you talk to an experienced writer about your ideas and how to execute them ._.

Making some sprites.

Yeah, some of them are from MetalMax3 (not even released yet) and SaGa2. Custom made.

I really miss screenshots topics, are we going to have them again these days? It gives me a lot of inspiration and ideas, so I really want to see it resurrected.

I went to bed, the dialog from the last scene of my game started coming to my head, I came back and wrote it down.
revamping the frog world rpg. i was having some problems reconciling the weird, dreamlike tone i want with the necessity of getting across plot information etc to the player, let alone the problem of building a whole world and letting the player get across it however they choose. instead i'm turning it into kind of a Live A Live thing where you go through different scenarios and locations with different characters, and the overall plot is revealed gradually through seemingly throwaway lines and reccuring information.

here's the initial character designs. in order the characters are those for: city zone, swamp zone, jungle zone, cave zone, halloween zone, desert zone, and moon zone. i don't like the swamp or desert characters yet but i'll play around with them.

The only one I don't like is the desert zone.
But overall they're very charming.

I've always wanted to do a Live A Live clone, good luck with this.

Yesterday I took some time remembering how MIND-NUMBINGLY TEDIOUS it is for a non-artist to grit his teeth and hack together what are essentially rm2k3 battlecharsets (the eight directional movement + battlepose sprite sheets) which are required for all of Battle Engine Melody's views except for Emptyview, which on some level I am thinking I should just stick with. For the past two years when I've been working entirely on frontview games I REALLY HAVE NOT MISSED THIS.

Anyway it gave me flashbacks to all the bchars I made for Eldritch (before Ocean remade them and better) and Shadowrun: Missions back in the day.
After checking out the forest fire just down the road ( D: ), it's back to polish polish polishing, and inserting npc one-liners if I have time to get to it.
OH, I know, I can introduce you to my version of hell, one week of eventing here I come:

...anyway, I am working on fixing up some presentation niggles in In Praise of Peace's menus.
I finished my game... so I'm not working in anything right now. And I won't ever work in anything again! Mwhaahahahaahaha!
I've been contracted to make software for a futuristic thing that will end up in big city office buildings. I'm getting one delivered here today to work on it, and then it gets demoed in a new office building in downtown Chicago, before it ends up at 1,000. I'm EXTREMELY excited!
