The RMN Comic Collaboration begins!
Excellent! Updating now.
So, new ideas bandied about for future events:
1) Review Madness = sorta like March Madness, only with reviews.
2) Game Gale = the spring equivalent of Game Chill
3) Basket o' Games = A bunch of games made for Easter/Spring with such a theme.
4) Community Boss Project = take an existing game and make a bunch of boss battles for it
5) Action 53, using the random game name generator = making a game in 24 hours, and then making a collection
6) The RMN Awards for Playability & Excellence = selecting 2009's best games by committee
Past event types:
a) Release Something! Day
b) Play Something! Day
c) 3-hour competitions
d) BQ5
e) Chaingame
f) probably other things that I am forgetting

Well, it'd have to be March!
Would it be like some sort of tournament or something? Imagine 16 reviewers squaring off in a tournament, and then people voting on the best reviews, until a final Master Reviewer is crowned!

that would encourage people to try harder to be entertaining rather than having a review that is actually helpful i'm afraid...
maybe if we had a panel of trusted judges decide the winners based on certain criteria instead?

You can make an entertaining and helpful review, it's not too hard.
a series of entertaining reviews will be submitted by the black cape some time in the future. this is all i have to say on the matter

I used my patent-pending method of a google image search, a quick browse through dafont.com and using photoshop to apply pre-built layer effects. But I also used an artistic filter on the background this time!
