Crobat one of the rare ones that the pokewalker lets you catch early on, or did you have a Golbat in there and it increases happiness? I keep forgetting to actually try the pokewalker. I'm kind of worried that it'll overlevel them a bit, but thinking about it it probably goes quite slowly?
I don't think you can get a Crobat via the pokewalker. I just increased my golbat's happiness, albeit using the pokewalker. It doesn't overlevel- they only gain 1 level per 'stroll' you take with them, so overlevelling is never a problem. That said, it raises their happiness like absolute insanity, so it's useful for evolving the pokemon with happiness-based evolution, like golbat or magby.

I've already beaten Chuck at this point, the battle wasn't as hard as I thought it would be. I've also disbanded Team Rocked at the radio tower... God they suck. :P

They should make a pokemon game where you're part of Team Rocket and play with same game mechanics as main stream pokemon games (meaning not the weird dungeon exploring bullcrap)

you can always slap a vulpix in the GTS looking for a growlithe for trade, that's how I got mine. I can't do that with mantine or gligar though, as I've never seen those guys before. =/
don't bother searching for a growlithe in the GTS yourself though, you'll find all kinds of people who think they'll get a lv 100 arceus for their level 3 growlithe, or any manner of other retarded trade they can think up.

Even though I always like SS (and it was the first I got back in gen 2), Heart gold had the better exclusives so I ended up buying it instead. I'm going to hate trading my pokemans from diamond to HGSS "One by One"

I wish the "cloning" glitch in Gold and Silver was still present with this game. :P
I spent hours cloning rare candies and master balls with that.

i remember missingno in the first ones though. it was like a drug, it freaked me the fuck out, but i was addicted to cloning those rare candies

Yep. Simply save before transferring the pokemon you want to copy before using the pc box. When you deposite your pokemon and save it, when the message says "Saving. Don't turn the power off"... Turn it off. Your pokemon would be in your party and stored on the pc the next time you load your game.
I could trade legendaries with no remorse that way, and I could also copy a ton of master balls (it copies the item the pokemon holds, too)

Haha I was not aware of that glitch. I might just have to go do that. But ya I loved Heartgold, my favorite in the series though is still the Blue/Red/Yellow generation. I really hope they remake Ruby/Sapphire next, or maybe, they should make a game, where you start in Kanto, and do every region from Kanto to Sinnoh, now that would be awesome imo.

I've been wanting a more open-world/sandbox-approach Pokemon game for a while. Having access to all the major regions would be pretty damn cool, especially if you weren't forced into doing the gyms in a specific order or anything. Or even doing the gyms at all. I'd like a Pokemon game where the object of the game is just to help Professor Oak with his research, not to become the Pokemon Champion or whatever. Something like Pokemon Snap- I loved Pokemon Snap.
