Incidentally, I wonder how THE BLACK CAPE is doing on his reviews.
Please make note of how the last page and a half or so of this thread completely and exactly corroborates the specific points in the post I made pointing out those exact problems.

What do people really care about? It's pretty obvious if you look around.
A cursory glance around the site suggests they care about clinging to their favored maker of choice and shouting down any user of any other maker as silly, inferior, somehow not as good as themselves for their choice.
They care about showing off, about looking down on others and making sure everyone knows how awesome their own project or custom system is, even if it never sees so much as a single release.
They care about getting as many people as possible to play their game in all circumstances, even if they will readily admit that they would never even consider playing anyone else's game. (Because it is obviously inferior to their own, naturally.)

I think you are greatly overestimating my influence.
...and I had intended to make Generica TNG in like 2 weeks. THat didn't happen. :(

And you are correct. RPGMakers can't be used to produce quality, independent games, or even professional-quality games - actually, to quote Max, WRONG. Too bad you're stuck in fucking 2k/3!

I read that as: "RPGMakers can't be used to produce quality, independent games, or even professional-quality games - WRONG...(to quote Max)" meaning "You can use RM to make good gams"
