WHAT WAS THE LAST FILM YOU WATCHED?

Posts

Last thing I saw was "The Devil's Rejects" 'cause I'd never seen it before.

Despite the fact that my favorite character was the sheriff and that I hated the main characters b/c of the life they lived, I'd have to say that movie was pretty damn good.
"The Devil's Rejects"

Lol, that movie was an example about how Rob Zombie sucks at film making (well you can also pinpoint the halloween remakes). But I guess if you have several violence montages with happy music playing over it you can at least rope some people into think it's "deep." None of the characters have any sense of morality or interesting goals. Most of the scenes felt pointless and without any real meaning or significance to the plot. I guess the sheriff guy had some revenge thing going on... sorta, but it was pretty obvious he was somehow being shown as the villain (well at least he didn't rape anyone).

The ending also seemed pretty pointless.
It's his best movie, which isn't saying much, but yeah. The Halloween reboots just piss me off.

yeah the whole series is very depressing but I think the first one is the most depressing and the third one was the only thing that's ever made me really close to vomiting!

Mr. Vengeance was so gratuitously gruesome! I could handle Oldboy, I think I'll be able to handle Lady Vengeance. I think Mr. Vengeance turned me off because you know what's going to happen, so I sorta lost interest, whereas Oldboy kept you guessing.
The last movie I watched was Wayne's World.

It is Excellent!

Also, The Age of Stupid is pretty good, as far as documentaries go. Basically, the gist of the movie is "we're fucked as a species."
Love Wayne's World so friggin' much. It's one of those movies I can prolly recite from memory.

The Secret in Their Eyes. Baller.

It should not be this difficult to rally up one mate to see Inception with me.

Yeah let's go. I've been looking for someone who'd go to watch the movie with me, too.
ok ok guys... get this: Super intelligent ants, taking over the world.

If you're looking for a classic 70s sci fi horror with a really dumb concept, this is the film for you. Oddly enough I really liked this movie, the directing is superb, I'm not sure how they got the ants to do insane actions in such a time without cgi. Yeah, all of the ants in this movie are real.
I'm liking the sound of that!

Broken Embraces, it was pretty good, not as good as Almodovar in the late 90s or early 00s, and Penelope Cruz's tits were all over the place.

I just watched Donnie Darko. Though it was intriguing, I wouldn't put it beside other great films.
S. Darko was worse, but I thought Southland Tales was pretty good.

I hope this is a joke. Southland Tales was so horrendously fucking bad duuuude.

You and I have different tastes, obviously. There's really no need to minimize my opinion (and it is just that) to the level of a joke. As a psychology student with a very open mind you might want to watch out for that, duuuude.
TiMER. Really interesting movie, if a little boring.
So BM and BD should probably not insult each other and defend their respective opinions on said movie.

Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Was fucking hilarious.

I loved that movie.

Last one for me...

The Book of Eli.
I was interested in seeing that movie until I found out it was about a bible.

So unless the plot revolves around Eli striving to destroy the final copy of that book to save humanity, I am not interested.
