A new idea from me, a game called Kingdom Frontiers, based on histories of nations at war completely based on one family tree, and secondary character that isn't connected to them, but some ally of some sorts way into the future, trying to bring peace in the world. With a secondary storyline involving a ancient document called "The Elder Seal" which holds history to the vast past which two kingdoms fought over.

The main character mostly is a prince named Darwin II, no real name, I just think it's left unsaid. His lifespan goes from the year 1012 to 1052, until his life and death fate is questioned. And his new born son Prince Felix takes on the reign of the kingdom from 1079 to 1199 to whatever happens between then in the storyline. And the final character is a Valkyrie named Elsie who has three saga parts. Until the final resolution of war and peace, and revealing the true nature of the ancient document.

Pretty much the description of it. Soon I'll properly delete most my other projects for this storyline. Dreamwalker and SOLDIER are on hold. But I'm looking forward to completing the first part of Dreamwalker, it's still in my interest area. So really, I'm not forgetting about that. Midas Force may have to go, but I'll keep the world map in handy.

Leo & Leah 2?

No, I didn't think so. :(
Using the PicPointer patch, I've been re-tooling some custom menu stuff... Just revised an event that was originally comprised of about 430 conditional branches plus some change, and condensed it into a mere 18 lines of code. Making menus ain't a thang at all now.
I've been working on OPC with my buddy.
Its a comedic, post-apocalyptic, cross between Avatar and the Final Fantasy series.

It's still early in development, but it has some solid game play, now we're just mapping and adding in the core storyline.

I'm working on a first track for a gamesoundtrack for some people here. Dunno how much of it I'll be allowed to post in future, but here's something anyway!

Just uploaded info and screens for Kingdom Frontiers. Don't you judge me on rtp, but it won't be all rtp. And it's not final version. Needs more guards.
Oh, God....I'm learning biology as I'm translating Seraphic Blue....Talk about the body structures of humans and angels...

Still at Episode 7 out of the target of 22 :/

Makes you cry for efforts of times long past doesn't it? :P

Taking a break from working about a week straight on a contest game that I might probably lose. Will post it up soon for critique/feedback anyway!

A project using Rusty's Caterpillar System where you choose from 1 or 4 characters on about orphans whom are trained in fighting and magic who are on a quest to take back the world from a ancient evil. So it's pretty much a classic style rpg. I get it, that'll be a cliche, but might throw something in there to make it better. Sidequests and mini games alike.
Been drawing a lot lately, haven't even touched my game, not too eager to get back at it either. Heh;
I'm currently designing an under water charset / tileset for RM2k3, and creating a system where you can walk into shallow water, and as you get deeper, each terrain will change your charset to the water rising on you, which would also constantly change your charset to show water animating around you. Also, the tileset will constantly be changing to animate the different terrains of water without using events.

When you reach the deep water, that terrain will change your charset to swimming, and when you reach the very deep water, that specific terrain will be set so you can press a button to dive, your coordinates on the map will be remembered, and be transferred underwater to the same coordinates.

Your charset will constantly be changing to animate yourself floating above or below water. You can press the button to resurface, which will remember your coordinates, and transfer you back to the surface at these coordinates.

Also, the tileset will always be changing, to animate the tiles such as seaweed, bubbles, sand, etc, without using events.

A timer that sets how long you've been under water, which will force you to resurface when that time is met, but if you are on a terrain that doesn't let you resurface (say there are rocks, etc above you), you will drown, and it's game over. Unless you have the item possessed to allow breathing under water, you won't be forced to resurface. You'd also need the item that allows you to swim, and dive.

Yeah... this is gonna be really cool when it's done. :)
I wope up in the middle of the night and though "hey, my first RM game wasn't that bad... I think I'm gonna translate it and post it on RMN".

It's a short RM2K RPG. It's a game I made as a christmas gift for a friend. It's pretty decent and standard. Rips and RTP, no custom systems. There's no porn or torture or gore or subversion of any kind, if you're wondering. I think I made it in... 2002? Maybe. I'm excited about it.

Just not sure how far I'll go into changing the game. I don't want to change it, but there are some things (like disastrous mapping issues) I can't let go by.

So you're of the opinion that your own game sounds generic and cliche and you might throw something in to improve the quality? :( :( :(

Tons of helpful game design articles on here for you to reference, good sir.
